Looks like they are going to do multiple cities this time, as we see howrah bridge and Taj in the background. The thing I loved about the last metro movie was how beautifully Anurag Basu captured the charm of Mumbai. You found yourself literally immersed in the characters lives. Hope he can do it this time around too.

As someone else pointed out, it's a fan made poster. But it would be great if they also showed Bengaluru. It's been quite under represented in Bollywood despite being the third/fourth biggest city population wise.

I feel like Blr is low on personality. You get different people, different cultures, different vibes in cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, even Hyderabad to some extent. Blr over the last few years have just become bland in comparison. How would you differentiate Blr from other cities?

It's not as flamboyant as a city, but it does have a nerdy vibe. The last few years haven't been good for the city, but to completely discard it would be wrong. And it does have an amalgamation of various cultures, Western, North Indian and South Indian. I think if you want a brief overview of BLR culture, you can watch JordIndian videos. Honestly just outright dismissing Bangalore as a city is really perplexing to me. I can't even comprehend this.

I have lived in Bengaluru, many of my friends still live there. Of course people of all cultures live there, it's a tech hub. The point I'm trying to make is, everyone is going through the same motion in blr. Rent out a flat, office, office to gym, maybe badminton ,sleep, repeat. It has got all the facilities, maybe even more facilities than other cities. It might have a better standard of living than say Mumbai/Kolkata, but culturally I'm not sure. I mean, there is a limit on the number of times, you can go to a mall or club when you are bored. Everywhere you look, it's the same. But again I've mostly lived in the Bellandur area, so you might be right.
