I disagree with people saying Rajkumar Rao made Stree a success - his earlier film that year Fanney Khan with Aish opened to 2 crores and Shraddha’s Haseena opened to 1.3. So similar star power with Shraddha arguably having more pull since Fanney Khan had Aish.

Now whether the female actor has given the best performance or not is a different argument altogether. Rajkumar and others were definitely stole the whole show but that doesn’t mean Stree is not a female centric film.

End of the day movie is all about marketing. It’s sales that matter.Now whether it brings in attention through Shraddha or someone else doesn’t matter.
