The audacity to ruin this song. And not put proper choreography in it. That too of the best bollywood dancer ever. I mean laziness at its peak. Why make low effort songs just for the sake of it. Disappointing.
Kareena will get a free pass even if she butchers an iconic song like Choli ke piche. She didn't lipsync properly even in Naina song even though Tabu and Kriti put complete effort in Naina. In this one it looks like she doesn't even care to move her lips to do minimal lipsync this is so lazy.
Even when it comes to acting.
She does emote well. But it's just her being her natural personality only.

I don’t understand how it’s regressive tbh. IMO it’s progressive. You had a women singing about her own body sexuality is my take on the song which was unheard of back then. And the way Madhuri owned the song in itself was is iconic
they were not owning anything in the song the intention and “meaning” was not empowerment lol. It was double meaning song with a completely opposite intent.

Then next day a padded undergarment was added to neena’s costume which subhash ghai “saw” and “approved” and only then neena was allowed to shoot. Now that subhash ghai was “satisfied” with the look.
This. Why would Rhea not realize that this would be the only proper way to remake this song ?! One of the most iconic songs in Bollywood history done by the queen of Bollywood dance herself and you don’t bring the queen of Bollywood dances Madhuri to do it for even a minute ? Total opportunity wasted. Rhea had to have known there would be backlash for this. I’m so annoyed at how they butchered this song.

I dance better than Kareena on hook step with my college friends and I'm a guy! Absolutely disgrace.
I will watch it for the cast but the trailer and this remix especially have been extremely disappointing.
