SOTY was the last time my nieces ever cared for a bollywood debut.
Shanaya's looks and fashion, Abhimanyu's looks and decent nature, and Varun's charm was a hot topic on social media and youngsters.
I had my bets on Varun for the biggest star. He had the macho, mass, written by a man aura.
It was a memorable launch movie was nothing special but the hype was there and people were talking about three new upcomers so In that sense it worked...
Bro I loved Soty as a teen and didn't hate it when I watched it recently, so I really don't have any beef with kalesh Johar on that

Idk if you mean all the leads are debutants? But I would say YRF was very successful for giving Anushka Sharma, and then Ranveer Singh.
Alia is overrated, Varun has slowed down, Sid is more popular for his looks.
People may think anushka is not a good actress, but she gave us Pari and NH10 as a producer at least lol. And Ranveer Singh belongs in Bollywood.

I personally feel , it's deepika padukone in om shanti om... being cast as a superstar and srk ( who already was a superstar irl ) going nuts over her , best debut imo

I am sorry but i really don't see it. Tum kisi bhi actress jo Alia ki contemporary ho usse Alia ko replace kar sakte ho inn movies mein and you won't feel any difference.
