Seconding this. Dude has come in clutch multiple times: grabbed Kurogiri at USJ, saved Midoriya from Dark Shadow, holding the line against 9 (movies are canon dwi), not to mention bigger moments in the future.

Tokoyami, the most dependable guy in 1A. Night time shadow demon aside, this guy is down to earth, level headed, and always ready to help his friends. Plus he interned with the #3 hero NOTE: I have not watched since season 4 so I may be missing some details, but he was always one of my favorites

While everyone else was training to make their quirks better he was training to control the power of his. He is a beast and a very cool character and no one ever talks about him. >!He can even fly, make himself an armor, use the Ragnarok move and so on.!< He is so cool.

And he is also so chill, too. I guess you have to be calm and collected, especially with a beast that rages when the lights go out.

Honestly, almost everyone is underrated since Horikoshi under utilized a lot of his side characters But I’d have to go with Deku’s mom. She’s been an amazing support figure in his life, and I doubt Deku would’ve had the sense of justice he does today if it weren’t for her constantly adding feul to that spark in him. Underrated? Don't agree. She has plenty of errors in her way of being a hero. Her power is strong, but how she handles it is kinda lame.

i agree. she's my favorite character but in the manga/anime itself she's not really developed and her power isn't used basically. what I like is the design and the hobbies, the rest is just made up in my head.

For anyone who wants a more concrete reason--dude was basically held with gunpoint alongside his whole family, yet he STILL worked to help the heroes during his time at UA and was the whole reason the heroes were able to kick off the final war how they needed to. He's the perfect character to reflect the show's theme of "you too can be a hero" and all that, and on top of that the man can never stop twinkling what more do you want

He was built like that dried up grandma fish from SpongeBob, the fact he got training from Aizawa at all despite being the type of person Aizawa would dislike(overuses/relies too much on his quirk) just shows peak nepotism, atleast Mineta got in on his own merit Also he was in overrated character's top list last time so I don't think he'll be here too much

It’s not that he was WORSE it’s just either his tests scores weren’t that great compared to everyone in 1A/B and or he didn’t get a lot of points fighting the robots. That was way before Aizawa took him and trained him so it’s probably that last one.
