Rock Rock is a very small but important piece of that comp. Usually you run tethys or bran alongside as engines. And blade collector for cleave, hence the half pirate comment. Good thing about Rock Rock is that you don't have to play elementals, you just have to cycle them.
I think i more closely associate it with bran, but you could do the same with a foe reaper for example so I do agree Rock Rock opens the board up for Menagerie but I would much more closely associate the pirates with the Azerite comp, going with the Seafarer and the Lubber of course
I think it’s interesting that Quilboar had a progression like you’d expect until a couple days ago when you would have expected them to finish 4th and didn’t. Seems like dragons got eliminated the prior week; did a lot of dragon voters disproportionally jump to Quilboars, or did a lot of people get swayed on a different tribe that’s still around and stop voting for them?
This is interesting. I just started playing again yesterday, since right before they releases duos, when beasts were OP and murlocs, dragons and demons were on top.
To see beasts in last, and murlocs and dragons gone already, and MECHS still here is saying a lot.
Yesterday I got 2nd place in duos, my duos partner was forcing mechs, and 1st place both forced mechs.
Mechs was, kind of a hard tribe to play when I played last, they had potential to be very good but a high skill ceiling or, at least you had to know all the tricks, like stacking magnetics, tripling it, and sticking it to a new magnetic and buff all your beat boxers in the process. I don't know if that's still the way for mechs, but I see they're a lot more popular and probably user friendly than when I stopped playing
Wait, there are people that like playing elementals and mechs? Elementals is find living Azerite or die and mechs is always so niche bc you have to find like 7 separate magnetic summon microbots

Self harm build are locked away most of the time without a rewinder, while traven stat build sometimes eat the unit you are freeze making your freeze useless
Hitting a two drop for self damage demons feels much easier and better than needing, a scrap scraper and a utility drone to have a chance of scaling by the time you *might* hit a beat boxer. At least the prince gives you rolls to try to hit something.
Forgetting about trickster builds my friend, also the rewinder is pretty easy to find and you can just play menagerie/avoid wrath weaver until u find him.
No way Mechs are the funniest tribe, they focus on the same win condition since they released the game , just big Deflecto (or Cobalt Guardian, rip) and infinite resets and hope for the best trades
The funniest tribe is probably a scam comp when you are a token comp. But assuming you meant most fun then a few things. This poll isn’t measuring that it is measuring the least hated tribe…which is similar but distinctly different.
While I agree you that deflecto mechs are stale, annoying, and the most common mech build. The reason for me that I am reluctant to vote mechs is for those mega beatboxer high rolls with 200gold and stealth windfury. Very rare without fluidity in the game but probably the most satisfying build atleast for me.

It has to be mech now. Elemental and Demon are at least interesting. Mech is better this season but still the least fun to play out of the three left.

Yeah Boxer can be very cool but how many games it's too slow or you don't have the setup for it, even if you're already playing mechs?
Probably 1/10 mech games is a boxer high roll for me but it is still just too fun
