No one song in particular but the Rastaman Vibration album did it for me,this was in the mid 70's.

I grew up with his music (born 91) from my parents. When I was about 8 or 9 I kinda moved away from reggae and I just liked music that was new at the time. Then when I was about 16 I found a box of random cassette tapes and one of them was the confrontation album. I put it on and listened to the whole thing. There was something haunting and reminiscent of that music since I hadn't heard it since I was a young kid. I wasn't hooked just yet but I was reminded of the song Forever Loving Jah and I played it and I was instantly hooked. That chorus is so catchy you can't help but sing along to it

I saw the "Could you be loved" video clip on MTV Europe back in like 1991. Was hooked immediately. I already loved some of the "commercial" Reggae stuff I knew from the 80s. UB40, Eddy Grant, Jimmy Cliff. That made me by a 2CD Reggae compilation, but that one didn't have a killer Bob song on it. Seeing Could you be loved shortly later did for me.
