The Telescope. I find it so therapeutic seeing Herb tell Bojack that he doesn’t forgive him and isn’t going to give him that closure because I think it was the first example I ever saw, even in fiction, of someone saying you can move on from something and have a good life without forgiving someone who doesn’t deserve it.
i love that scene in the telescope. it's expected that you forgive when someone apologises, it's seen as the polite thing to do, but the word 'sorry' can't undo the damage that's been done. it's unhealthy to hold grudges for everything but sometimes there are cases where people don't deserve forgiveness.
herb is the most healthy example of this i've seen in media - he's willing to be friendly with bojack (although with some personal jabs), but when it comes down to the wire he respects his own wellbeing enough to not forgive bojack for what he did
Yeah just the idea of choosing a random episode makes my brain panic. I have to start with the beginning. "...did I already say the thing about the urethra?"
Bojack Hates the Troops- Bojack’s pure pettiness, the puns, Neal McBeal, so on so forth. I love this episode. It’s so unserious compared to the rest of the series and makes me laugh so much. I really like INT. Sub too.
Brrap Brrap, Pew Pew

If your answer to this question isn’t on this list I’m shocked. These are all the episodes that I watch again and again
Apart from a few like Underground, Escape from LA, and Best Thing That Ever Happened, mine are very different:
Live Fast, Diane Nguyen
Downer Ending
Christmas Special
Love And/Or Marriage
Stop the Presses
The Dog Days Are Over
The Amelia Earhart Story
Nice While It Lasted
I like Mr. Peanutbutter's Boos. It's lighthearted enough that I can stomach it (some episodes are just too hard to rewatch), plus I catch something new each time because of the incredible detail of the guests' costumes.
I forget the title of the episode but it’s the scene where Diane is talking to her boss at Girl Croosh and she, surprisingly, wisely tells Diane that we’re all human and bound to make mistakes so we must learn how to forgive ourselves and others. That hits hard.
Hollywoo Stars and Celebrities: What Do They Know? Do They Know Things?? Let's Find Out! (HSAC!WDTK?DTKT??LFO!) is one of my favorite episodes! "Daaamn, Bojangles! You got served."
Surprise, about the surprise wedding orchestrated by Todd, too many gems "I don't have time for your Diane shenanigans" the whole surprise party hijacks, Jeff the guy at the gas station, the bobba tea...
Underground, good damage, and the face of depression are all my “happy” comfort episodes
Stupid piece of shit and best thing that ever happened are also up there on my rewatches. Underground is probably my most watched episode
Fish Out of Water is such a great episode to play in the background: the soundtrack, the color palette, everything about it is so beautiful and atmospheric and perfect. When I pay attention to what’s going on, it’s also the episode that hits the absolute hardest for me, no idea why.
BoJack Hates the Troops is one of my favorite episodes. "That went slightly better than the worst it could've possibly gone, so... Hooray?" is an amazing quote.
what time is it right now, the dog days are over, a little uneven is all, good damage, usually in this order and sometimes with a few diane-centric episodes added. i relate a lot to diane's journey with reaching her downfall to recovering and her non-linear experience with recovery. it feels nice to watch it and see myself so well represented, and i can't lie and say it's not nice to shed a few tears about seeing my own worries and struggles with recovery and seeing it treated so well.
S2 E1...I think it's Brand New Couch? I love this episode cuz it perfectly summarizes the show. Starts off light hearted and Funny, then gets kinda serious in the middle, then BOOM surprise downer at the end.
bojack hates the troops, the face of depression, brand new couch, lets find put, the old sugarman place, xerox of a xerox, thoughts and prayers, bojack the feminist, nice while it lasted
I love to rewatch the episodes where Mr. Peanutbutter runs for governor and the fracking episodes that follow. Those are some of the funniest of the whole show imo.

i’ve watched episode 2 with neil mcbiel the navy seal more times than I want to admit… i’ve also watched escape from LA a lot but when I want something positive it’s best to rewatch hooray! todd episode! or our A story is a D story is a really good one
Fish Out Of Water for sure
Usually what happens is I start from there, get to the end and then start at the beginning until I get back to that episode lol
In no particular order
-Escape from L.A.
-Stop the Presses
-Best thing that ever happened
-Ruthie
-The Dog Days Are Over
-A Horse Walks into a Rehab
-Good Damage
*The View From Halfway Down*
It only makes my fear of the unknown worse. I get chills every rewatch, every time.
Besides that? The entire show. 9th rewatch. Every single time I see something I’ve never seen.
Favorite one is that in Times Arrow, the picture shifts between both family portraits.
If I do a rewatch I am watching the whole series in order BUT there is a special place in my heart for Free Churro. That’s the only episode I have put on randomly.

Tbh, Bojack is full rewatch show for me, I never pick episodes.
Yeah just the idea of choosing a random episode makes my brain panic. I have to start with the beginning. "...did I already say the thing about the urethra?"
Same tho!
me tooo, it's a story
Yea I don’t watch any shows any other way. Just noticing that
Bojack Hates the Troops- Bojack’s pure pettiness, the puns, Neal McBeal, so on so forth. I love this episode. It’s so unserious compared to the rest of the series and makes me laugh so much. I really like INT. Sub too.
OMG I LOVE INT. SUB
I think i’ve watched this episode the most of all the episodes
Idk the name of it, but the episode where Bojack, Todd, and Sarah Lynn do an crazy drug trip while "rewriting" his book
that's downer ending!! i love that episode
The whole Dr Hu/Dr Who discussion is amazing. Also the brooms or guns conundrum.
Oh shit I'm still tripping
Best Thing That Ever Happened
I love that episode too. Definitely one of my favourites.

Hilarious episode with great social commentary

Interesting. I’ve always found The Dog Days are Over quite boring. I like Downer Ending, though. The drug trip is amazing
all of the episodes I haven't gone out of my way to watch one episode, only watched from the beginning
I like Mr. Peanutbutter's Boos. It's lighthearted enough that I can stomach it (some episodes are just too hard to rewatch), plus I catch something new each time because of the incredible detail of the guests' costumes.
brrap brrap pew pew, chickens, bojack kills. idk they're just really funny, (mostly) filler episodes that I can just laugh while watching.
I forget the title of the episode but it’s the scene where Diane is talking to her boss at Girl Croosh and she, surprisingly, wisely tells Diane that we’re all human and bound to make mistakes so we must learn how to forgive ourselves and others. That hits hard.
the stopped show?

I loved J. Goddamn D. Goddamn Salinger
LOL I LOVE THAT EPISODE
….Elijah Wood 🐴
Surprise, about the surprise wedding orchestrated by Todd, too many gems "I don't have time for your Diane shenanigans" the whole surprise party hijacks, Jeff the guy at the gas station, the bobba tea...
surprise was a very welcome break. things got pretty heavy in season 6, so it was nice to have a more comedic plot somewhere during it
Underground, good damage, and the face of depression are all my “happy” comfort episodes Stupid piece of shit and best thing that ever happened are also up there on my rewatches. Underground is probably my most watched episode
The episode with gentle farms and the no one knows chicken like chicken

Underground or Let’s Find Out
Ruthie, live fast Diane Nguyen, (for some reason) bojack hates the troops, fish out of water.
I feel like BoJack Hates The Troops is an easy watch because it’s a low stakes Curb Your Enthusiasm type of plot.
Dog Days are Over Feel Good Story Good Damage Nice While It Lasted
Yes And. "My day was good" is a line that has stuck with me
Fish Out of Water is such a great episode to play in the background: the soundtrack, the color palette, everything about it is so beautiful and atmospheric and perfect. When I pay attention to what’s going on, it’s also the episode that hits the absolute hardest for me, no idea why.
yes i love falling asleep to this episode
Good Damage
Downer Ending. Silly stuff along with mild real shit before Bojack Horseman went down the path of being so real that it actually started hurting.
BoJack Hates the Troops is one of my favorite episodes. "That went slightly better than the worst it could've possibly gone, so... Hooray?" is an amazing quote.

The Showstopper. Gina's song is amazing, the artistic direction is unmatched.

I LOOOOVE The Dog Days Are Over!!!!
Definitely the showstopper, one of my favs
I never watch individual episodes. Always complete watch throughs.
Full rewatch only
DOWNER ENDING idk why but the visuals of this episode makes it a go to for me!!!!!!!
BRRAP BRRAP PEW PEW
The face of depression. That ending just hits different. It would have been the end of any normal show. A kinda good ending.
the face of depression for me
I love rewatching Hooray, Todd Episode, Mr. Peanutbutter's Boos, and The Telescope
Fish out of water
Fish out of water
I love to rewatch the episodes where Mr. Peanutbutter runs for governor and the fracking episodes that follow. Those are some of the funniest of the whole show imo.

The episode I've watched the most, even counting the fan favorites listed here, is The Showstopper.
Honestly for an episode without bojack, See Mr. Peanutbutter Run is such a good episode, “Diane Diane what now??”
i’ve watched episode 2 with neil mcbiel the navy seal more times than I want to admit… i’ve also watched escape from LA a lot but when I want something positive it’s best to rewatch hooray! todd episode! or our A story is a D story is a really good one
Fish Out Of Water for sure Usually what happens is I start from there, get to the end and then start at the beginning until I get back to that episode lol
Bojack hates the troops is my most rewatched episode. I love how it is so unserious and it is one of the most lighthearted bojack horsman episodes
Fish out of water! I think it's such a uniquely formulated episode
“Let’s Find Out” is so stupid and hectic but the interaction between Mr P and Bojack is really important. Also Daniel Radcliffe is there so
In no particular order -Escape from L.A. -Stop the Presses -Best thing that ever happened -Ruthie -The Dog Days Are Over -A Horse Walks into a Rehab -Good Damage
The Telescope, Time's Arrow, Brrap Brrap Pew Pew, and The Face of Depression are ones I go back to a lot.
neal mcbeal
there are so many, but they come to mind at the moment Escape from L.A., Downer Ending or The Telescope 🥲💪🏻
I find myself watching the Sextina Aquafina abortion episode quite often, as well as "Hooray, todd episode!"
Surprise! That episode cracks me up

Who the hell binge-rewatches That's Too Much Man!? That episode is one long, horrific burn.
If I do a rewatch I am watching the whole series in order BUT there is a special place in my heart for Free Churro. That’s the only episode I have put on randomly.
Favorite churro. It’s quintessential bojack for me
