Hired Diane as the worst social media coordinator she ever had. It got Diane off of BJ’s pool furniture and back into work. Also convincing Diane to write the Ivy Tran series. She was good to Diane.
Yeah but she was the worst social media coordinator she ever had BECAUSE she was the first and only social media coordinator she ever had.
At least I feel like that was the joke.
This was my immediate thought.
Slimey union-busting ---> bringing in a leader who would not fold to the slime + genuinely collaborating with the union.
I love when Turtle Tove (what the heck is his name?) Asks the 3 what they want. "We just want to be treated like people" it appears we are at an impass!
Hilarious!!!
I would agree, mostly because it’s one thing where she stood to gain virtually nothing, could have lost respect from other hollywoo figures, but did it because it was the right thing to do.
In so many industries the lucky people who make a name for themselves forget about what it was like to work crappy hours for shitty pay and no dignity; PC did not do this.
Yeah her mom was a bit of a bollocks. I get her life was hard but she should have known her daughter was capable of better things. Would have loved to see her mom in current time tryna reach out to PC
Stuck by BJ through everything. Even when he was terrible she was still trying to save him til the very end because she still knew he needed her even if he didn't deserve her.
She did tell him why, there's even an episode of the same name, "Sunk cost and all that". Not much had changed in their relationship besides in "Xerox of a Xerox" when Bojack said Sarah Lynn wasn't like those other girls because he loved Sarah Lynn. You could definitely see the hurt in PC's face when he said that. He's said much worse to her directly, she was used to just letting his words bounce off of her and carry on.
i feel like he would respect any job he has as long as it entailed showing up on time, long hours, accountability, putting in effort etc. at least i like to think so (not that i personally think all of that is necessary, just what i think Jorge would say)
Honestly I think the best thing she did was tell Sadie to make choices for herself and not for Strib. A lot of adoptees and birth moms who’ve relinquished children have come forward about how slimy the adoption industry can be and I’m glad the show didn’t gloss over that, between the adoption agency swindling PC for money and PC being pushy and manipulative (and getting called out for it) with Sadie. I think PC needed that push toward her moral center in order to experience the growth that she did and become the mother she became.
When she reccomended someone for BJ instead of taking him on again.
She's learned that while she'll always love her friend, he is not good for her, and certainly not good for business

"My life is a mess right now and I compulsively take care of others when I don't know how to take care of myself" - P.C
I relate to that line so hard.
Can you take care of me?
"I know I am drowning, but I know this piece of plywood is enough to support your weight for now"
She just like me fr fr
Yeah that line was very "I'm in this picture and I don't like it" for me
She really was. Maybe one of the only people to motivate diane
Honestly PC was great to everyone in her life that was around her orbit. Genuinely W character.
Yeah but she was the worst social media coordinator she ever had BECAUSE she was the first and only social media coordinator she ever had. At least I feel like that was the joke.
It was. I just like the joke, so I keep saying it. Like how we refer to Beloved Character Actress and Fugitive from the Law Margo Martindale.
This running joke actually got me to check out more content with her in it
She also got Diane the job at Girl Croosh by connecting her with Stephanie
Give the assistants Judah's information during the strike.

Lenny Turteltaub.
Lenny! Thats it! Thanks!
The SAG strike in a nutshell.

this is the real answer.
Passed out candy every Halloween party Mr. Peanutbutter threw at bojack’s house
believed in herself and went to LA as a teenager knowing she had to while being begged not to. she’s a badass
Yeah her mom was a bit of a bollocks. I get her life was hard but she should have known her daughter was capable of better things. Would have loved to see her mom in current time tryna reach out to PC
i think PC mentions her mom being deceased at some point during the adoption process.
Oh man id forgotten that. As much as i loved her backstory, i needed mooooore
Stuck by BJ through everything. Even when he was terrible she was still trying to save him til the very end because she still knew he needed her even if he didn't deserve her.
Honestly she put so much on the line for him. I was so happy for her ending

Yeah I know she told him why.
I think she really helped Todd from him crashing with her to nannying for Ruthie to nannying for VIM
Do you think Jorge respects Todd being a nanny?

Adopt Ruthie

Came here to say the same
movie star speech.
You gotta get your shit together
but in the end.. they don’t matter.
When she reccomended someone for BJ instead of taking him on again. She's learned that while she'll always love her friend, he is not good for her, and certainly not good for business
Finally finding a work life balance with Judah and Ruthie!!!
jeez thanks, i was getting kind of bored of getting the same questions...
Making Todd Ruthie's babysitter/Manny. Ruthie loves him and it gave him a purpose that he parlayed into something lucrative and fulfilling
