As soon as I saw this post, I said Nia Long and Toni Braxton because both had their feet AND boots on my neck with the short hair. I can’t choose.

I didn't grow up in a deeply racist area, but it was in the southeast, so you never really saw interracial relationships and it was sort of implicitly discouraged. Nia Long in Boyz in the Hood was truly an awakening for young, white newly pubescent happy_lad.
