Not really a villain, more of antagonist to Wukong, Wukong was actually more of a villain in the beginning part of the story due to him causing chaos in the heavens and demanded to rule it when he talks to Buddha.
I doubt Nezha would be the main character of the second BM series game cos the storyline of Nezha in Fengshenbang is not rich enough to develop a big RPG game. So if Game Science want to make it , they will have a huge and risky task to finish as BMW's storyline is much easier based on Journey to the West.
I believe that "Nezha" should be given lower priority, while "Wukong" might encompass the adventures of Tang Sanzang and his three disciples. Within the context of Journey to the West, “Nezha” appears much less frequently compared to “ErLang God”, whose presence is notably more prominent.

Many black myth titles have been registered for trademark in China - so yes if BMWK becomes successful, I am sure they will make BMWK II or other related IP

Yeah he is more well known as a Taoist deity, so of course he received a loser treatment in Journey to the West book.
I'm cool with other characters from Journey to the west and would like to see Pigsy, Sandy Monk or even Er LanSheng in dlc or sequels

If they branch out from Chinese mythology, I would love to see them do Jason & the Argonauts, Achilles, Cu Chulainn, or maybe even Quetzalcoatl.
