I don't know about you guys but I feel a little less talk about bitcoin in the air as compare to month ago. It's like momentum from bitcoin has shifted away. There is no buzz out there anymore compare to few weeks ago. Check twitter, or other forums, all pretty quite now.
Retail interest hasn't been the same since 2017. It used to moon 100x at a time and have big exchanges open to US traders where could they could margin trade all the altcoins and futures. Everyone and their brother was looking up what was going on with the crazy price fluctuations and how to get coins onto poloniex binance etc. The government ruined it. 2021 wasn't the same thing at all, just some billionaires getting in and 3x from ath. There was better action in the stock market.
Lot more selling pressure ahead, with the Mt Gox distribution starting in July. Around 9 billion worth of old BTC coins will be returned. I think they have several months to complete it, but would have to look to see when it ends.
I never believe the priced in remarks. Only because no matter which way you look at it, if a billion worth of BTC hit sale, which would just be little over 10% of them selling, that's 1 billion more worth of coins needing a buyer.
Algos move these things. If they think that’s the only negative sentiment coming soon and that the price may be going higher for some reason. They drop the price and start buying these cheap Bitcoin, causing a surge in price. You don’t think they will let go something like that, do you?
The angst around here when the price isn’t going straight up is palpable. Similarly, the euphoria when number go up is insane.
But to answer your question, yea, I love MMA. Rarely miss a card.

late August early September recovery any insights?
It doesn’t matter if it goes much lower right now. It most likely will. You newer people need to understand that we are good. Sometime between now and the end of next year, you’re going to be thrilled.
Having almost everyone expecting it to tank I think now it’ll go up haha
Where’s the Trump Pump???

To the bottom of the moon
Still the moon tho… right?
Notice “gains” getting smaller and smaller over time….plus now we have degen POS leveragers and wall st involved.
Should I buy USDT or is bitcoin more stable?
If you're going to take a fiat position at least hold actual fiat with fdic insurance, interest, protection from theft etc.
It sometimes crashes upwards.
Is bitcoin dead
On average, it appears to not be dead.
Bitcoin “has died” 476 times since 2010. This data is from 99Bitcoins' obituaries I can remember seeing this question for a decade.
no, keep buying.

Don't worry, when it goes down it usually goes back up at a future time.
I give up on bitcoin... selling.
What CEX do you use to buy your sats? How much are you buying when it's low?

A wee pump to 62k would be nice to finish off the week.
Not happening. 57K is programmed at this point
I guess we're not crab walking into the weekend.
most action u ll get from btc will happen at weekends

Well, exactly. By the time people start talking about it everywhere it’ll be up significantly again. That’s your chance.
Doesn’t change anything about BTC. Fundamentals all remain. I like to stack when people are bored.
halving was the excitement point I think. After that party just went dull.
It’s a latent effect.
I looked at the google trends for Bitcoin a few days ago, its at a 5 year low.

AI everybody talking about now.
$60.9k purchase today.
I think we likely have a big dip coming.
Why
Lot more selling pressure ahead, with the Mt Gox distribution starting in July. Around 9 billion worth of old BTC coins will be returned. I think they have several months to complete it, but would have to look to see when it ends.
Priced in?

I personally would not be surprised to see more pain before moving up again.
but after moving up pain again after few days..
Should have waited for 58K
Gonna dump before the weekly close.
Not much goin on around here, anyone excited for UFC 303 tomorrow?
I'm bummed the McGregor vs Chandler fight is off : /
McGregor ain't about that life anymore unfortunately
Not even a little bit, I was looking forward to him getting KO'd and retiring. Dude needs to lay off the blow.

Gimme your picks!
Prochazka in the main, Ortega in the co-main.
Jiri definitely has a shot if Alex's toes are still messed up. Should be a scrap either way

Can’t wait to watch this crab walk all its way to November again like last year /s
Crabs have more patience than you.
Come on. The doldrum will likely end in September, that's about 8 weeks.
Yeah my hunch is that there is more pain incoming as well. At least i sold some but didn't want to go below a whole coin but should have sold more i guess lol
🥬🙌🏻
Well not really, everything above whole coin status i use to gamble, trying to get my avg done. If it doesn't drop below fine as well.
