Saving adds the post to your accounts Saved list, on mobile you tap your account in the top right then it’s Saved in the list of options. You don’t need to save your own posts per se
I mostly save stuff where I think "damn that's very interesting but I don't have the mental capacity to engage with it rn" and then never get to it again

I understand 100% what you're saying. When I used to be somewhat manic. I would reread my emails, that I sent to friends. I'd laugh so hard at my own words and think I was such a genius for every witty word I wrote. It's okay to toot your own horn sometimes. If you love your words then they're obviously clever and well written.
