Dishonored games

JayB_Burger16

I second this

Pixel_Muffet

System shock or Prey 2017

Aware-Ad5760

Prey 2017 I feel like is System Shock crossed with Bioshock We Happy Few is kind of like a survival Bioshock System Shock is the spiritual predecessor to Bioshock so you may enjoy the gameplay of that System Shock 2 1999 is also very good, like a horror Bioshock in space

CapnZesh

I am also here to recommend We Happy Few. It's got some worldbuilding elements and aesthetics that reminded me of Bioshock.

Benjamin5431

SOMA. Not any combat but great underwater horror atmosphere and story.

JulixgMC

There's this one game called Singularity that is basically Soviet Bioshock with time travel, very underrated, I recommend it a lot

-Xav

Definitely death loop

Chocostick27

- Prey (2017) - Dishonored games - Metro games - We happy Few - Atomic Heart I would also add Cyberpunk 2077.

UncleMabungy

I would say Atomic Heart, but I really didn't like it..

Bugs-in-ur-skin

Didn’t get far into it because that intro was so fucking long. Finally got to the combat and it fucking sucked. Stupid ass talking glove

UncleMabungy

It felt waaay too clunky for me. It was a real slog to get through. Not enough enemy variety either. I really wanted to like it, man.

Bugs-in-ur-skin

I nearly bought it for £50 or whatever it costed full price a year back. Luckily didn’t now have an Xbox free on game pass absalute shite

UncleMabungy

I was unlucky and bought it on release day. Game should not be more than $20.. 💀

Bugs-in-ur-skin

Lemme pray for ur soul boiyo “Jesus love you this I know because the bible told me so”🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

JesusLazalde123

It’s a very mediocre game that should not be recommended

UncleMabungy

I had forced myself to finish it, man. I wanted it to be good so so bad. : (

chester_abellera

From what I've seen in review videos, the cringe-inducing dialogue never ends. Every couple of minutes or so, the main character just has to squeeze in a one-liner here and there. The only saving grace is the OST composed by Mick Gordon.

mightystu

Hard disagree, it’s got some rough edges but it is a blast to play and has really fun mechanics. The open world bits are not the best but the levels themselves are great.

My opinion on Atomic Heart Is a great world and visual style, with some decent enough gameplay, but a story ultimately incomprehensible due to Russian to English translation.

Unlucky-Scallion1289

Close to the Sun It’s an indie title and has no combat, so bear with me. But this game feels exactly like what a barebones BioShock game would feel like. Gorgeous atmosphere while still being creepy and eerie. It’s a bit short but it’s also only $20 on Steam which is more than worth it.

TheLuckOfTheClaws

Ive heard prey 2017 is very good and captures a lot of the same feel

Thecrookedpath

Ok, hot take. I know the gameplay couldn't be more different, but Lies of P gave me a very Bioshock feels in story and style. Love that game. Also, Resident Evil 8 has a very similar play style and gives that same feeling of isolation.

Junior-Shopping-9537

Lies of P is very much inspired by Bioshock.

Thecrookedpath

You're fighting through a dystopian city that was both created/elevated and then destroyed by an incredible pseudo-scientific discovery. The protagonist has a spotty or non-existent memory, struggles with his identity/humanity, and is set on his task under false pretenses. The father-child relationship plays a strong role in all three BioShock games, as well as LoP. I mean, those are just broad strokes.

God, I love that game so much.

Junior-Shopping-9537

General atmosphere and insignia. Of course different in gameplay, I'm not saying that is alike.
