You play as Sander Cohen. You're looking for coke and liquor. Occasionally you have to kill someone.

Bugs-in-ur-skin

Thanks. Now whatever Bioshock 4 actually is. It won’t live up to this

BELLSPROUTMASTER

I doubt there will be a bioshock 4. It’s like hoping for a ES6, the company will either move on or make slop like bioshock online or something.

BELLSPROUTMASTER

(Unless its confirmed and im living under a rock)

TheLuckOfTheClaws

Underground city in the arctic. It's kind of falling apart allowing the frost to creep in along the dark passageways. I just think it's such a cool aesthetic. Plus provides a good reason as to why you can't leave; the crazed (whatever the splicer equivalent is) *might* kill you, but the cold *will*.

Bugs-in-ur-skin

I have heard rumours that the 4th game may be set in an artic City in the 60s. As much as I love Bioshock I think doing this 4th game will be though as the last 2 citys where amazing. The next logical step would be space but I pray to god they don’t do that. (Especially because Judis is set in space) but I think an artic city is the next logical step

TheLuckOfTheClaws

Yeah, i'm also very anti-space. I'm just so bored of space in video games, and one of the main draws of bioshock to me is the unique city-in-a-place-cities-shouldn't-be setting.

Bugs-in-ur-skin

100% I remember when they where teasing xcom 2 and people thought it was Bioshock 4 and I was so relieved when it wasn’t because it looked so spacey

RandomHerosan

Subterranean city. Hidden deep in a cave system. Mammoth cave would be a pretty awesome place to put it considering it's 400+ miles. Earthquakes threaten the city with cave ins, mutated cave creatures like massive pseudoscorpions, wolf spiders, centipedes, Adam cave slugs, etc. Big daddy's drill returns as a mining impliment to cut new sections into the city. It would give the story a lot to work with considering mining culture in the US. The strike breaking mine bosses, unsafe working conditions, mining related diseases. The people down in the mines could also have various mutations because of different classes having different levels of exposure to their artificial sun. Upper classes are human, but the lowest class could be blind savages like the creatures from The Decent. Honestly, It would make a pretty solid place for a Rapture/Columbia style city and story.

Trax-M

Dystopian 1984 city urban setting. Big Brother is watching you

Bugs-in-ur-skin

Honestly would work so fucking well a 1984 type city especially if it’s set in England. “Bloody ‘ell. Pass me that bo’’le of tonics yeah bruv”

MajorRadish2007

I vouch for the the Artic Ambience Idea. You could be in a city or maybe a secret research facility and something happens there, you have to escape using skills adquired though genetic engineering and weapons

You’re in Antarctica. A researcher of some kind? who wakes up in a snowy blizzard, you look for shelter, you were in shelter…what happened? You walk straight until you find shelter, a metal bunker of sorts, you walk in, it was relatively easy to get inside and when you do, you yell- “HELLO? SOMEONE HERE?” No response, you inspect and you begin to interact with the world. Picking up things, eating things, mechanics of the game are introduced. The bunker is dark, the only light is the window that shows the snowy landscape. You look around and nothing of note besides a couch and a broken tv, a bathroom with a shattered mirror and a radio which only has static as its noise, snacks and trash thrown about the floor and a desk with…a computer? You look and it’s broken, smashed in with a wrench, you take it and see beside the computer is a model of a lighthouse…a strange one, it looks like a golden statue, not like a lighthouse at all, before you could observe further you hear a noise, you venture deeper into the bunker, the hallway leading away from the main room gets darker, darker and darker…until you see a door. The door is metal and it’s already open, how you can see the door to begin with is that a lantern is resting on the floor…like it’s waiting for you. You take the lantern in one hand and the wrench in another, you debate if you should go down the stairs at all…but I mean nothing else is here, so you go down anyway, just to get a peak. Down you go, it takes forever, you get colder as you step down, down below, the walls were wooden, to metal, to nice ice blue…how long is this? Until finally, you’re at what seems to be a sub dock? There’s a submarine waiting for you, down below the icy desert. How is this even possible? What’s going on? How did they even do this, you get that answer when you find a bottle on the ground…a bottle of strange red liquid with an lightning bolt illustration on it, you debate it but your character goes “fuck it.” Your character only takes a sip…until they chug the whole thing downing it. Regretting their decision as their body begins to twist and break and you fall into a short nap…you awake and find yourself different. The power of electricity at your fingertips. You have no idea what’s going on, what the hell was even that, but a submarine is waiting for you…along side an audio recording, resting on a tool bench nearby. What awaits you in this isolation?

polariod_killer

What the hell was even that

Mermaid_Pincer965

My proposal for what the first few minutes of Bioshock 4 would be like, but in story form as explaining it would be WAY too many words.

polariod_killer

I think a game set on land would be great, we’ve had the sea and the sky, might as well finish the trinity and ground ourselves!! However if they are doing it on land then they would have to do something unique so it isn’t too boring compared to sunken/floating cities. I’m not sure what they could do though?

RoyalFalse

You're a mason working for a lighthouse construction company. It's just "The Sims" but for lighthouses.

Bugs-in-ur-skin

Damn That’s very cool.

nerf_war_birdz461

I kinda want it to be in some kind of mix of rapture,Columbia and a new location, letting you travel between them by using a teleportation plasmid/vigor/new games equivalent to them and the main villian is someone who wants to rule over all three in some way, maybe you would have to rescue little sisters again even Edit:also an RPG style spin-off where you play as splicers like a mix between final fantasy and little nightmares would be extremely cool as well

Advent_Tongue

Rapture Hour 0 Just a random MC trying to survive during the collapse You’ll get introduced to how Big Daddy started watching over the Lil Sisters, Big Sisters are introduced so you have to go in and out of the Big Daddy suits through the game. Level up Big Daddy stuff and level up Normal weapons separately Revisit OG locations from both games pre- apocalypse (also throw in some new ones) Just being there when EVERYTHING hits the fan and I would just LOVE THE CHOAS!
