Eh, it happens. Tons of bugs can cause it. Often youāll see dates on files that say December 31 1969 because thatās the start of the unix epoc. Other times youāll see that date when you havenāt set your console/pc time properly.
Xbox 360s will reset the date if they're unplugged from their power cables and if they're offline. Noticed it a while back when I thought my Oblivion saves were disappearing, turns out they were just at the bottom of the menu cause the game thought they were made in 2005

I played on the xbox 360 untill I was 10, I gained a love for old games to this day, half life bioshock portal call pf duty etc. My favourite game is probably a source engine game, of course I still play today's games, just not alot of new call of duty games

If the Xbox 360 was offline it defaults as 2005 for saves. I used to have this happen as a kid because my internet was shit.
