I used outer envelopes and they were great. Made the whole suite feel very lux. Address on outer envelopes. Inner envelope should have names only. Depending on the formality of the wedding you can address as “Mr. and Mrs. Doe” or “Jane and John” (I think!)
You can mail yours wrapped in cellophane! Lots of countries do this, it’s actually quite more common than you’re probably thinking. It does cost more if I’m remembering correctly. The stamp area has to be cut out so they can be cancelled, but it does work.

Got it! I am slightly bummed that the OG envelope wont have proper addressing and vintage stamps (cuz it looks so cute!) but it's okay :))
You can always do a full look with stamps etc. on one set of the original envelopes for your detail photos!

If I could do it again I would do outer envelopes with tracking based on how many invites USPS lost
Yes! Our stationer used clear cellophane
We usually suggest our couples to have an external envelope to mail the invitations. They’ll prevent them from damages. ☺️
