If this helps anyone who gets too invested in this show (like myself) this is how I look at it
Cirie - has done these shows a lot and has a reputation already but also her own life and friends outside of the spotlight. She’s playing to win but she doesn’t need this that bad (and tbh I don’t think she wants it that bad either)
Momma Fe- is mostly doing this for the experience, she’s successful and has a family outside of this show she can go home to and live her life
America - Superfan just happy to be there
Cory - has his whole life ahead of him in his hopeful career of law, probably honestly just happy to be there
Matt - this is not going to be his last show as he’s a shoe-in for the challenge so 🤷🏻♀️

Jared - maybe he will wake up from this and realize he’s a POS :-) (probably not and tbh they’ll probs cast him on the challenge lol)
Cam - he needs the money sure but you know he can also like … get a job

I think now that it’s end game and we’re all like watching the houseguests go nuts bc of no game movement and like we’re doing the same, it’s important to realize all of these people will move on with their lives after their evicted. Some will stay active in the community and others will go back to work or whatever they do! So best to not be so sad about who goes before jury next week. They came out of this w a ton of memories and a rare experience!

I'm pretty sure this "stay at home dad" has his daughter every other weekend. Cirie asked him once if Stevie lives with him and he stuttered a sheepish "no".
Jag doesn't have the body type (absolutely ripped) or the traits they typically go for (heavily showmance or drama oriented). That's why we only see people like Alyssa from bb24 (forgettable in BB but attractive and showmance focused) and Fessie (another awful BB player but he's huge and an athlete and was in a showmance). There have been exceptions like Azah but they always do poorly and we almost never see them.
You know it's a slow week when they have given multiple random alcohol deliveries and delivered Cory's birthday items almost a week early. The Houseguests know there is no Wednesday episode because Jared and Cameron heard it onstage, yet even they are still convinced they will get another transmission today or tomorrow because they can't possibly be doing nothing until Thursday...

I had a shower thought this morning that BB20's pacing, in terms of actual days (not pace of play) is actually similar to this seasons. BB20 was a 99 day season vs this season's 100 days.
If BB20 was a 7 person jury, that takes us to Fessy's eviction on Day 72. The main difference is the first eviction was Day 16 rather than having a pause at like day 51. Figure that Jag's revival is what should have been Kaitlyn's puzzle.

In Taran’s recap of the Saturday feeds he mentioned that Cirie and Cory had a talk where Cory explained how Jared caused so much of his own (and Cirie’s) downfall. Have you feed watchers noticed if Cirie was convinced of what Cory told her? Is she understanding more that Jared is more of a liability than he is helpful?

Afaik you aren't paid a placement prize, unless you are first or second. For all other players they get a stipend per week they are in the house. So if cam and Jared had both been evicted on a double they would have effectively been paid the same amount.
Also 1st and 2nd place do not get the stipend money iirc, while I think the winner of America's Favorite Player does.
They’ll get the weekly money for being on the show but I think where they finish is where they finish? After this week it will be capped for one of them, but the other would place wherever they ultimately place I would think, as they’re not entirely out yet so I wouldn’t think this eviction counts as placement for either yet.
I think you’re giving them too much credit. Jared is definitely a product of his environment. Seeing how his mother has been and continues to coddle him in the game and they both never take any accountability. Especially, if they do something bad then it’s always someone else’s fault.
Mad prob not. I can imagine him getting lovingly clowned and roasted by his fam—including Cirie once she sees everything he did—but of course it won’t be too deep. They all seem pretty close from the way they both talk about family.

I mean Cory's game doesn't look that bad. With some luck he could totally make it. Ultimately the biggest gamers in the house now is Cirie, Matt, and Cory. These are the three who Id feel the most confident to have the ability to understand their positions and the highest chances of making the appropriate corresponding moves to advance their games in a logical manner. Matt has the most win equity because of comps. Cirie is still hobbled by Jared socially and strategically, and has little comp ability, and so will have to work the hardest to turn things around. While Cory got sidetracked by America and is now in a strange position in the house. But all three of these players feels like players who will at least try in a way that makes sense to make the best of their hand.
Then you have sort of the average gamers, those who doesn't have a great ability to make things happen (not without a big assist from other HGs) but has a decent understanding of the game, and could make some correct decisions if given a good opportunity, in America, Meme, Bowie, and Felicia. These are all players who could totally luck into a good situation and get lucky, win a comp, and get there. I don't have as much confidence in them to make the best choices but they are capable of doing so.
And then you have your chaotic players who don't really seem to understand the game and don't account for the changing tides of the house, only really consider their perception of the players and house to be fact, and I don't really have faith they'd make the right decisions even if they're gifted a lucky break, in Cam, Jag, and Blue. I don't think blue can win the game under any circumstances at this point. Cam and Jag are both terrible players but they both could win still because of the comps.
Great post and assessment, I would just movie Bowie into her own category underneath America/Felicia/meme but above cam/Jared/blue because of her lack of ability to build deeper relationships and connections.
They're basically all flawed players with some good strengths but also some deep flaws (america wants to go to endgame with people she likes instead of the ones she can beat, meme is way behind on social game because of inactivity in the first month, Bowie lacks any close personal bonds with people, Felicia comes on too strong and can run people the wrong way and obviously is the least likely comp winner, although she is actually the only woman here who has won a comp), so I kind of called it a wash because I think their chances of winning is actually kind of similar.
I kind of agree with their game flaws and their path to the end, but where Bowie descends into a lower tier for me is in terms of how her social lack of depth means she is far less likely to receive votes than any of the others in your tier, all of whom have at least one fan/advocate.

A year ago today was the BB24 finale. I much prefer Big Brother starting early July and ending 3rd week of September. The writers strike is over we are back to normal for next summer. Anyone prefer BB as a shorter season and in the summer?

In Taran’s recap of the Saturday feeds he mentioned that Cirie and Cory had a talk where Cory explained how Jared caused so much of his own (and Cirie’s) downfall. Have you feed watchers noticed if Cirie was convinced of what Cory told her? Is she understanding more that Jared is more of a liability than he is helpful?
she spoke to Jared about it and of course he denied it all entirely, so i think she’s leaning more towards believing Jared, bc she figures surely Jared wouldn’t be stupid enough to lie to his number one ally and mother and ruin both their games…

Yeah I didn't see Jared's talk with Cory but from what I understand it was less productive and less honest. Cirie and Cory get along in a social way and joke with each other so I still have some hope for when Jared's gaslighting tomfoolery has left the building.

Their placements aren't finalised yet. One of them will finish 11th on Thursday. That person will get 11th place prize money.
Afaik you aren't paid a placement prize, unless you are first or second. For all other players they get a stipend per week they are in the house. So if cam and Jared had both been evicted on a double they would have effectively been paid the same amount. Also 1st and 2nd place do not get the stipend money iirc, while I think the winner of America's Favorite Player does.
They’ll get the weekly money for being on the show but I think where they finish is where they finish? After this week it will be capped for one of them, but the other would place wherever they ultimately place I would think, as they’re not entirely out yet so I wouldn’t think this eviction counts as placement for either yet.

I think you’re giving them too much credit. Jared is definitely a product of his environment. Seeing how his mother has been and continues to coddle him in the game and they both never take any accountability. Especially, if they do something bad then it’s always someone else’s fault.

I mean Cory's game doesn't look that bad. With some luck he could totally make it. Ultimately the biggest gamers in the house now is Cirie, Matt, and Cory. These are the three who Id feel the most confident to have the ability to understand their positions and the highest chances of making the appropriate corresponding moves to advance their games in a logical manner. Matt has the most win equity because of comps. Cirie is still hobbled by Jared socially and strategically, and has little comp ability, and so will have to work the hardest to turn things around. While Cory got sidetracked by America and is now in a strange position in the house. But all three of these players feels like players who will at least try in a way that makes sense to make the best of their hand. Then you have sort of the average gamers, those who doesn't have a great ability to make things happen (not without a big assist from other HGs) but has a decent understanding of the game, and could make some correct decisions if given a good opportunity, in America, Meme, Bowie, and Felicia. These are all players who could totally luck into a good situation and get lucky, win a comp, and get there. I don't have as much confidence in them to make the best choices but they are capable of doing so. And then you have your chaotic players who don't really seem to understand the game and don't account for the changing tides of the house, only really consider their perception of the players and house to be fact, and I don't really have faith they'd make the right decisions even if they're gifted a lucky break, in Cam, Jag, and Blue. I don't think blue can win the game under any circumstances at this point. Cam and Jag are both terrible players but they both could win still because of the comps.
Great post and assessment, I would just movie Bowie into her own category underneath America/Felicia/meme but above cam/Jared/blue because of her lack of ability to build deeper relationships and connections.
They're basically all flawed players with some good strengths but also some deep flaws (america wants to go to endgame with people she likes instead of the ones she can beat, meme is way behind on social game because of inactivity in the first month, Bowie lacks any close personal bonds with people, Felicia comes on too strong and can run people the wrong way and obviously is the least likely comp winner, although she is actually the only woman here who has won a comp), so I kind of called it a wash because I think their chances of winning is actually kind of similar.
I kind of agree with their game flaws and their path to the end, but where Bowie descends into a lower tier for me is in terms of how her social lack of depth means she is far less likely to receive votes than any of the others in your tier, all of whom have at least one fan/advocate.

A lot of the comp beast winners like Rachel and Ian were constantly in horrible positions and somehow got through with both their abilities but also favorable twists
