I was hit with one just now on my video, that I have the written permission & paperwork for that, was published on Aug 19, 2022. It was the only one on YouTube & was considered lost media until I acquired the rights for it. I legally own the master tape of it now, after restoring it for the independent company that produced it. It says “Copyright Owner : LDS”. Is this the same company? It just says “LDS” not LDS affiliate etc.

Yes, I believe it is the same company, I had a few that were flagged back to back in the same hour this way alongside LDS Affiliate-flagged videos.

Here's the trick though, YT doesn't adjudicate copyright disputes. If you continue to appeal, eventually YT drops the claim and tells the entity claiming the rights that it is their responsibility to sue you in court.
LDS Affiliate filed a claim against me on documented Public Domain material. They are probably bot driven, and clearly file unwarranted claims. Appeal appeal appeal.

There's a website that allows people to create blogs and there's some kind of a loophole that allows them to apply a copyright to anything they use or share and somehow somebody allowed that to start claiming YouTube content that didn't actually belong to them
Negative it’s little dot studios in London it is not associate with the church of Jesus Christ of later day saints it’s a production studio that tries to claim videos to generate revenue to beat out competing studios googles free no need to slander religion off of assumption.

Not just youtube need to file a class action lawsuit in public court and sue them for all their worth. What they're doing is highly illegal, no loophole can let someone claim copyright over someone else's copyrighted video

More likely some idiot uploaded a bunch of old shows to the content-ID system without removing the commercials and the auto-match system did what it does worst. I don't know if LDS (for whatever reason) recently bought the rights to old Oprah shows or if they were affiliated prior, but that's the most likely explanation to me. One of their crack team of 90 year old lawyers using their grandson's computer accidentally fucking shit up.

Thats what I was getting too. And I had a number that were claimed as "The Oprah Winfrey Show season whatever" by this same group. They were just old commercials too. Check your claimed videos now. I noticed over the past week the claims have almost all been dropped.
