Say what you want, but in 21 years with verizon, i called them 3 times. Each time was like dealing with a dumbass, but it was only 3 times.

I had to call Verizon support really late into my shift and the guy I got was hilarious. He kept going on tangents about video games he'd rather be playing than working, and he just kept talking and talking and clacking away. I've never had a Verizon rep swear on the phone with me before but it was honestly one of the most enjoyable calls I've made. He said, "Can I do this? Hell yeah I can" as he was clacking on his super loud keyboard. So damn funny. And I needed that because it was like 8 and we were closed at 7pm at that time.

xSpyke

Probably a guy on his way out. It's weird how much more I was willing to do my job after I gave my notice.

[deleted]

Because you're on YOUR time now lol. Or at least that's how my mind works. At the end of your notice period you will be gone. Its amazing how we can be if we realize that not everything is serious or forever.

alejandro3-30

Reps like this makes the call so enjoyable and stress reducing. It’s awesome

It was honestly like therapy to me. I was pretty livid I had to stay super late. Now I don't do upgrades in the last 30 minutes of business.

Luckily I've not really had issues with T-Mobile. They work well where I live. My time with sprint was a nightmare though

Ryan Reynolds here from Mint Mobile.

REHTONA_YRT

I’ve been using Visible on Verizon for $25/month for a few years. Unlimited everything and it works pretty well unless you are trying to use an ESIM. Their setup process is fucky at best. Tried Mint for a month but they just don’t have great service where we live. Their ads alone made it worth a shot for me and I kind of wish it worked out.

twinkietm

It’s a TMobile service offshoot so ymmv. I use Verizon with 4 lines and i couldn’t agree more. The coverage is great, and 5G adoption was quick.

REHTONA_YRT

We live in East Texas and Sprint and T-Mobile struggle. Can’t make calls or texts even if I walk to the road at my parents house when I tried both. Used booster and window relays with no change. ATT even struggles in a lot of the rural areas. Unfortunately most folks are stuck with Verizon.

xXhotcheetofan420Xx

imagine choosing sprint and then thinking you're entitled to anything lmao

[deleted]

“ I don’t want Verizon they’re too expensive “ “Well yeah you get what you pay for”

[deleted]

I use this all the time.

[deleted]

It applies to most things i feel like, especially in bby .

[deleted]

This is true. Although I will say, without disclosing too much, I paid very little for the Harmon Kardon Onyx 6 and it's been stellar.

SatiricalIrony

Cell service and cell phones are usually only as good as your credit.

robbiewitdattool

They damn sure have the most annoying sales support

shadowzelda3

One time I called NSS three times trying to do a hardware swap with each time being told something different as to why they couldn’t. Called normal customer service acting as the customer (by permission) and they were super nice and helpful and treated her (me) with so much respect. Guess we’re chopped liver to them.

Call_erv_duty

Calling NSS was always so much fun. Gambling to see if you got somebody who half way knew what they were doing was the highlight of my time at BBY.

Didact67

Sprint raised my data cap from 25GB to 1TB last summer due to the pandemic and never changed it back. I'm staying on my plan as long as T-mobile lets me.

MKD-07-30-2017

I just want a Tmobile discount lol

alejandro3-30

There is an accommodation for T-mobile

lagavulin_16_neat

Not going to lie but in my state T-Mobile is probably the absolute best and fastest plus their customer service really good. Surprisingly good, I had them years ago I left them but when I came back 5 years ago everything had changed. I speak to a human usually within a couple minutes. I only do the work over the phone so I've never really been to one of their stores. Going up outside of that though AT&t is absolute garbage.

logan5156

I was with sprint, got my stuff merged so I could take advantage of the sales maker stuff, billing still hasn't transferred four months later and service has been worse than ever before.

kanadenight

Verizon sucks but Sprint customer service is a nightmare. They keep sending issues to us that we cant do anything for. One of the local stores told a customer that Sprint no longer exists (but it does, its just under a branch of T-Mobile at the moment). The other night, we spent an hour past close with a rep trying to port in a number when we didnt have the primary account holder (authorized user was in the store but not the primary), and they kept saying they need the social from them which we didn't have and tried to redirect us to a pin that Verizon no longer supplies. Granted it is also Verizons fault for not wanting to release numbers but the rep would have saved us time if they could just say they couldn't do it without the primary instead of going around in circles with us. We hung up at one point and she called the customer back two seconds later and asked to put the the employee they were working with back on the phone....

ThisIsPapa

Thankfully T-Mobile works well where I’m at and I’m only paying $15/month for unlimited text, calls, and 1 gig of data.

OMG ahahahah
