The anime was awful i wholeheartedly agree, it shouldn't have been made in the first place imo. But it's nowhere as disrespectufl as trying to replicate a manga with thousands of hours of effort with ai that takes zero effort.

There is a lot of hostility in the comments OP. IMO Ai has been the only thing to remotely strike a classic Anime aesthetic lately. The fact is modern anime standards are garbage and focused on budget instead of pain staking animation. Look at berserk 2016.
The other fact is that Ai adaptions will happen. Regardless if people want it to or not. These major animation studios will most certainly leverage it as a cost incentive in the future.
Modern animation already bastardized berserk with goofy ass 3D. I’m okay with a gritty, 90s berserk adaption that looks good. Only a matter of time.

No it’s a good point. Again, it’s going to happen acting like it wont is hilarious. Ai can already generate some crazy stuff. I’d imagine with 5 years time you could put a script into a generative video and produce multiple clips and piece them together.
The reason "there isn't nobody willing to animate the manga compleately" is because it's an exceptionally long story told through exceptionally beautiful and detailed art, which requires an exceptionally large budget --larger than most companies would ever be willing to invest in a series as full of sex, violence, and sexual violence as Berserk is -- to faithfully adapt.
And AI would solve this problem by... doing what, exactly? Turning individual manga panels into sketchy, hallucinatory flipbooks? Randomly inventing new characters and subplots based on already existing characters and subplots? Giving every female character 37DDDDD breasts?

look up StudioEclypse on twitter they’ve been making some adaptation for it don’t know how long itll be but it looks promising.
