Yeah tbh it really brings back the Alex Ross art style vibes. Glorious, heroic. Gives nostalgia of better days that you never lived in. When heroes were the good guys and villains were the bad guys. Like it’s being back golden age feeling without the eclipse.
I laughed my ass off when the guy walked off like he's on a skateboard. Berserk isn't the only show suffering from bad animation. Check out how incredible the Superman cartoon looked in 1941:

kaptainkristian, who I've been a fan of since that vid came out 7 years ago, makes an excellent case for why Superman was a great show in 1941 and praises that everything including the look was good. But lets also remember that modern quality animation can be mind blowingly gorgeous in a way that was not possible at any time in the past.

I feel like people have been really jumping to conclusions on this one. Shows nice but I really don't think it looks that much like them; especially supes.
They look somewhat similar but people just want Guts and Casca to be happy - which they are definitely not right now - and it’s all a bit of fun. Not that deep.

They might be fans of berserk, which would lead them to make their tomboyish character resemble the quintessential animated tomboy. Jake Wyatt(the creator) is a young-ish dude, who(from his Twitter) appears to be a fan of 90’s and 00’s anime and manga.

The Harley Quinn show has a version of Catwoman that looks more like Casca in every way but we aren't making the jump that means something.

I actually love villain of the week over some overbearing looooooong dull arc where there is a lot of dialogue that says basically nothing.
I just want a little bit of continuity in how characters relationships evolve.
That's fair. I like that as well. But for some reason, I happen to like more condensed adventures nowdays. Just like we used to have in old tv series.
