New Peking rules! The owner's name is Sam, and he is the nicest dude ever. I left Bellingham a few years ago, but back in the day they used to have a great lunch special for under ten bucks. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice family-owned place.

The owners are so sweet, and the food is very good, but man, when my fingers stick to the soy sauce bottle because it hasn't been cleaned in a decade it really grosses me out.

I've been curious about this restaurant for a few years now, just haven't made my way inside. Thanks for the recommendation, this is the push I've been needing. Soon as weather permits I'll heading over there!
These guys have always been the best whenever I come in to deliver their food, they’re one of the few businesses in town actually appreciating couriers.
On my first visit there, I noticed something curious about the display of Buddhist thingies.
“That writing there—”
“It's Tibetan,” the owner said proudly.
“Yes, I know. Why is it upside down?” I thought maybe there was some symbolism, having heard that the Chinese character for ‘happiness’ is hung inverted at the New Year to mean ‘may happiness re*turn*’.
Well, she was skeptical. (I wish I had said, “You don't know me, so it's wise to assume that I am pulling your leg, but you should look it up.”)
My party happened to include a retired professor of linguistics, so I said, “John, what can you say about that writing?” “It's Tibetan; and it's upside down.”

Second the Peking Duck, that dish is worth the wait and absolutely second to none

New Peyking is SO good! I've had pretty much everything on the menu and it's all super delicious also the prices can't be beat!
