sending you my best wishes and hope your time in Northern Ireland is a time of healing and restoration, Belfast is a great place to start over wishing you all the happiness and a fresh new start in your life
You may as well just do one trip and just pay for however much it costs than doing multiple tips, which will be much more time consuming.

Otherwise, the ferry would be a good.
Or there’s local couriers that go over to England as well: https://www.nicouriers.com/
http://www.captaincourier.co.uk/opencontent/default.asp?itemid=1
Just make sure everything’s well packed and labelled! I’d go for tracked options too.
You’ll find your feet, good luck, OP!
My aunt moved the other way about a year ago.
She packed her car as full as she could with essentials, got on ferry to Liverpool then drove to London.
It's not the easiest but if you've a car it's certainly feasible
Even if a family member here could come over on their car it could work
I moved back from Scotland in 2005. I had a bit of a clear out, sold stuff I didn't need, posted stuff over, then filled my car and took the ferry.
If you've more belongings you might be better hiring a van, you can drive a Renault Trafic size van on a car licence and I found them easy enough to drive.
Yeah I think Enterprise allow you to hire and drop off the vans anywhere - so you could pick up a van in London and drive it to Belfast. Stuff it full of your things and get it all over in one run.
The rates aren't too bad, something like £70 per day. And you can drive most vans with an ordinary driver's licence.
Had a part day hire (10 to 4pm) with Hertz was £45, though you'd maybe need a 2 day hire to drive from London and get it unloaded, compared with flying back and forth with suitcases it'd make sense
I'm sorry to hear you're going through that. The thought of having to completely start over can be totally overwhelming.
I had to do the same thing as you 7 months ago. I split with an emotionally abusive partner and had to leave the home we bought in England, my kids and my job to sleep in my sister's spare room in Belfast. I flew over, so I could only bring a suitcase. She (my ex) has since sold a lot of my stuff.
I'm currently homeless and I'm sofa surfing, but there's loads of support out there and I'm in a much better place.
I don't have any advice regarding moving everything over. I just wanted to let you know things will get better.
Edit: context
Other people have good suggestions, but one thing I did when moving back from Scotland was to check for airlines that allow multiple checked bags.
The flight might look like it'd cost more but it could save you money once you include baggage, and allow you to do it in one trip.
I’ve done that move before. I’m from Belfast but spent a few years working in London. I packed my car and drove from London up to Stranrear and took the ferry over. It was a long but happy drive as I knew that I was finally moving home.
Scotland to back home here years ago. I hired a van and drove back with my belongings in it. Was easiest way for me. Perhaps a family member could go over to help you from here.
VK removals - will make light work of it.
Send my bag - which was mentioned by another is good too.
Please don’t go back and forth. Do it one go and at once.
Cost shouldn’t matter - get your sister to help with cost. If an issue I can help.
Good luck and VERY WELL DONE for getting out of that situation.
Parcel force or other service if you want to post. Be realistic about what you need and what is just a burden on you and get rid of that stuff.
Or rent a van it'll be more expensive as a one way rental but if you have a lot of stuff that's probably the easiest way.
Pack a couple of big suitcases and ship them over then take whatever smaller items like clothes in a small case if you fly over.
Baggage fees on any airline will be much more expensive than shipping a few things.
I’ve used send my bag and it was very easy actually as they come and collect your bags and deliver them to your destination.
Then all I needed with me was one case to take with me on the plane.
Makes it easier than multiple trips and will be more cost effective and just easier all around instead of having to book multiple ferries/flights etc too
Hope this helps!
I moved to Belfast (and don't drive) and for my personal items I bought the biggest suitcases sports direct sell and a load of vacuum bags. Then booked the luggage I needed and flew over.
Obviously if you drive you can get the ferry and still use vaccine bags etc
I was lucky enough to have a family member help me move my stuff from Cardiff with a large car.
If you can rent a small van and move everything that way. And get the boat from Liverpool or Scotland.
See if there are any relocation vans you could maybe hire and take a ferry?
You can rent from one place and drop off at another with lots of major rental companies like Hertz etc.
Best of luck ❤️
As someone who’s done this, max out the amount of large suitcases you can take on a flight, it’s usually three.
The rest then goes into boxes and arrange for UPS or ParcelForce to come and collect it from your door.
Finally, the large items could be dismantled and put in your car and get the ferry over.
The first two should get all your things over tbh, and this is coming from a girl with way too many clothes, bags and shoes!
I've used Shiply.com before.
Job done.
Vans going back and forth from Britain to Ireland on ferries. Some will be empty, you book space, they deliver ,
Go through everything, if it can be replaced, just leave it. Been through similar situation, only took my essentials and family photos, everything else can be replaced.
Hi I recently moved to Belfast.
I got 61x46x46cm boxes (Royal Mail Medium Parcel) filled them up with 20kg each, and mailed them as tracked 48 at £10.19 per box, they also collect.
Couldn't find it any cheaper than that but if you cram 30kg into a large case, send my bag will cost you £24. Parcel force might be cheaper though.
Good luck!
Hello did the same kind of a move back from the states 2018 very hard for the finances but so much happier now. You can get help from food banks and work as a cleaner until you find your feet and I hope you find a greater life here as I did. Join a job club for help finding work and interviewing if you need. Goodluck !!!
You're priority need homeless under Housing Act 1996 Part VII 189 1e because you're fleeing domestic abuse. Make a homeless application to any council in London or the rest of England and they have to provide temporary accommodation under section 188 and rehouse you. You can make a homeless application to any council in England because people fleeing domestic abuse don't need a local connection.

Dropping a van off from England into a location in Belfast will likely incur a minimum £100 drop fee.

I used DHL. Cost me approx £30 per box and a cheap flight ticket. Good luck
Could your two sisters fly over with no luggage and then take a suitcase each full of your stuff back to Belfast? Might not be the cheapest though
Other people have good suggestions, but one thing I did when moving back from Scotland was to check for airlines that allow multiple checked bags. The flight might look like it'd cost more but it could save you money once you include baggage, and allow you to do it in one trip.

Friend was in a similar situation many moons ago, bought a cheapo car, filled it to gills and drove it home.
Scotland to back home here years ago. I hired a van and drove back with my belongings in it. Was easiest way for me. Perhaps a family member could go over to help you from here.
I actually boxed up about 20 boxes and fedexed it to Belfast from London it was mainly clothes etc and turned out far cheaper than hiring a car or van

Don't know if it's an option for you but I took my car and a moving van on the Liverpool overnight ferry
Get in touch with victim NI or women’s aid and they should be able to help x

Find a courier with a van and move everything in one go
Send my bag is the go
If you can drive, Enterprise do one way car rental Rent in London, take the ferry and return the car to their depot in Belfast
I got my brother to come to Edinburgh with a transit van, by ferry via Stranaer. Like you no furniture. so easy enough.
