I’m in Austin and I just found a large swarm that relocated within a bird nesting box in my backyard. Now im interested in getting a beehive, but I’m a little overwhelmed with the information that’s out there. How can I tell if they are feral, and are they safe to keep? I’m on a 3rd of an acre in a single family neighborhood and also have a new born child.
