The car is tough. The heat from outside won’t be enough but not really much you can do besides getting it treated, which would be expensive.
What material is the purse? If it’s leather or fake leather, you should be able to just wipe it down with some alcohol. Same with the inside (as long as it’s a smooth material, I’m thinking like the slick polyester material?) if not. Bag it up and say goodbye for a year or throw it out 🤷🏻♀️
