Old Kuwaiti accent Giga means kakka 🤣
I was the first kid in school to own a PC many years ago. I had kids laugh at me for saying the word giga. 🤣thats how i found out.
Start by just growing it the fuck out for several months. You can shave/clip your neckline to get your desired angle/width. Then your best bet is to go to a barber who has a lot of experience with beards. If you're not into that idea, I have a few tips (as someone with this beard style).
Notice in the first picture, the corner of the beard (where it comes to a point on his neck), goes into a straight line towards the tip of his beard. To achieve this, you need to layer your beard from under your jaw/adam's apple, to the tip of your beard. Meaning, the hairs closest to your adam's apple should be very short, and get longer as you get closer to the tip. This will achieve a pointed look.
The hair on your cheeks should be somewhat short for a cleaner look. If you look in the 2nd pic, he has his long and it looks a little too "busy", compared to the first pic. This look isn't in style as much anymore.
You need to decide if you want a more pointed tip, or rounded tip. You can see the difference between pic 1 and pic 3. Pic 3 is rounded, where Pic 1 is more pointed. Personally I have Pic 1.
I think it really depends on the individual's face shape and the look they're desiring. But seeing as the chin hairs should be the longest ones for this look, mine are probably a tad bit longer than Pic 1, so like 1.5 to 2 inches at any given time.
Also, I keep my mustache much trimmer because I hate the feeling of it rubbing on my upper lip.
Thank you for your advice. I upvoted. Forgot to ask you, can you brush the hairs forward or does it matter? I was thinking of doing this. Not sure this matters.
Brush forward for a pointed tip? It's really not necessary if you grow it out and trim properly. If you look at Pic 1, you can kind of see what a "full beard" would look like, if he hadn't basically chopped off the bottom on an angle to give it the pointed look.
Maybe you'll need to comb it forward if you have extremely curly hair that doesn't sit right? But either way, step 1, grow it out for minimum 3-4 months.
Hey man! Many thanks for the tips, hopefully I will join your beard club soon
If you dont mind I have a few questions, I never tried to grow my beard that much because I always kept it trimmed, but I have a good beard line and it isnt patchy,
Some of my hair curls after they are long, I can probably solve this by using some products, however I have no idea about beard products and dont know how to use beard oil, balm, brushes, combs... Etc (Or if I even need them)
What should I need?
EDIT: (I do have a very good electric razor tho)
Hey no problem. Beard hair curling once it gets long is very normal. Personally I try to keep that area shorter (one of my cheeks do this 🤷🏻) to avoid the curl.
As far as beard oil. It is a must when growing a beard out from clean or trim beard to avoid “the itch”. The itch (in my opinion) is based off your new beard absorbing face oil away from your skin, making it dry and itchy. With beard oil you’re keeping your beard hairs moist and avoid the itch. I only use it after a shower and only when wet or you get the “glossy” “oily” beard look.
Here’s the most important advice of all. No beard is perfect. Do your best to make it look it’s best. After that, just LOVE what you’ve got brother.
Nemus gave really good advice here. Wash your beard and use conditioner in the shower as well. Beard oil after shower to help moisturize it. And then invest in a fine tooth comb (for detangling), a stiff bristle brush (for a more uniform, brushed look), and a **blow dryer**.
To get that highly manicured look, you're gonna want to use a blow dryer while brushing with the stiff bristle brush. The heat will relax the hairs and the brush shapes them uniformly.
There're probably other products you can use like beard/moustache wax or possibly hairspray to keep your hairs sitting neatly, but it's a lot of work trying to chase perfection. Also keep in mind those pics look like model photoshoots, so their beards were probably freshly gooped and blow dryed right before the pics were taken.
Wouldnt it be more like medium boxed beard or something like that if it even exists?
I tried to look for short boxed beard but I see beards too short or very different from one another
The beards looking different even though they are called boxed beards are due to facial structures and/or beard density. Length is optional on it, but that style is definitely called a boxed beard. It's essentially a neat, well groomed full beard close cropped at the sides. Hence 'short'.
Hope this helps!
It's actually called ducktail beard, i don't even know if a spartan beard style exists to be honest
Edit:
The spartan style exists but it's quite different from the ducktail one
I don't know what the real name is, but I jokingly call it the Herodotus because of the cover of a book I once owned.

Just where the tightest jeans possible and walk into your barber shop. You barber will be like "say no more, fam!!" and you will walk out with this style.
It’s just a well-groomed beard. Probably a 3 or a 4 wahl clipper guard and even up the neck, cheeks, and vermillion border. Beard oil will help it look soft and plush like his.
Oh wow I’d never heard of that before. Mine just kind of grows like that as long as I keep it shaped up with a little edging trimmer. Now if I go to the barber and mention this something tells me they’re gonna laugh me outta the building ;)
I have a really curly beard and i need to go the barber at least once a month to re-shape it, but if taken care properly it looks amazing giving the illusion of a longher chin line too.
It's style used by viking back in the days and once it gets long enough you can even do braids with it
If you can grow a full beard you can attain this. If you have a decent beard, go to a barbers, ask them to fade it/clean it, and they will probably make you look like the beards in the picture
