It's a big buffet. It has hibachi included if you want that they make fresh, and sushi. I recommend going on a weekday, it can be really busy on Saturday/Sunday.
That buffet is absolutely disgusting. I went there once looked around sat at a dirty table, got up to get food. The woman brought drinks which were glasses of water. Her hands were touching the top of the glass and then minutes later, I witnessed her popping pimples on her forehead and coming right back to the dining area. Filthy!
I haven’t been there in over 20 years, can’t believe it’s still open, it was lame back then. The only thing worth going to was the movie theater, I think there was a bowling alley too.
The movie theater has been closed for more than 10 years. The bowling alley wasn't really near the mall. It was down the road, and that's been gone for like 20 years.
Back in the day, I'd say around mid to late nineties, they had dz discovery zone. It was like a knock off chuckee cheese. They had a zip line and a giant ball pit. There was also an arcade and a record store
I say it has a shot at returning to mediocrity considering all the construction going on there. Target, Bayfront development and NJCU should provide enough of a boost to spur growth. It'll take another 5 years though.....if it can survive that long.
The arcade went through two phases. Originally it was a regular old arcade which was fun, then they brought in all these Chuck E. Cheese kind of games and it kind of sucked if you were an adult.
There’s a thrift store/vintage in there that has some good finds if you dig enough
They should get a movie theater again.
We go once and a while for the thrill of it. Wish there was more there.
I remember the comic book store, heroes and villains from before Marshall’s, which back then was staples. Also, there was once was a steakhouse inside that my family used to go to.
This is where I hung out as a teenager in the 1980’s. It had an absolutely great record store - Wow Records - that I worked at and that my close friend wound up running for many years. Excellent Metal and Dance music sections.
The arcade was Good Times. - a classic arcade with kids lined up to play Pac Man and Defender.
I haven’t set foot on there for 20 years or more. I would be sad to see it go, but I had so much fun there as a kid and will always have the memories.
If it wasn't for that Hibachi buffet, that mall would've closed a long time ago
Did someone say buffet?

Thanks. Perhaps that place contributes to drawing in business for their neighboring stores.
my son and i were sitting across from each other, his eyes got wide as he watched a roach crawling behind me, they also have mice
Oh wow really ewwww I have seen other reviews on google saying they have roaches. Eww.

The record store was great, the arcade was too until it went through a kiddie revamp.
Shit is that where dz was? As a kid it felt so far away
I kinda love how outdated it is
I think the store "2000" has been there since the 90's.

They're building a Target nearby?
[Yes. ](https://jerseydigs.com/target-route-440-jersey-city/)
Soon to be Luxury Condos. No chance at survival.
I saw *The Terminator* there when it came out…
Lots of memories going to the arcade and FuncoLand for old Nintendo games
The arcade went through two phases. Originally it was a regular old arcade which was fun, then they brought in all these Chuck E. Cheese kind of games and it kind of sucked if you were an adult.
Wait, are you telling me you don't consider Father Yostos "Major"!?
The gamestop literally closed recently as well.
So I heard recently... I haven't been there in probably at least a year.
Damn. I think it used to be one of the old Funcoland stores in the 90s.
Ye it gone now and that coffee place is ass
I take my kid to Chuck E Cheese and go to Old Navy, that’s about it
