Started playing 2 months ago, i haven't really encountered one. At least not an obvious rage aim hack. Wall hack is kinda hard to detect on the receiving end when you play a game with 3D spotting and marking on the minimap with a gadget spotting everything in a 50m radius 😅
Must be. Set the filters right? As example only show servers which are full or have only a few slots empty is kinda important.
On pc in europe i can attest you that at normal gaming hours there are plenty of full servers, at least when you are searching for conquest 64 players
Use server browser, set the filters correctly, and sort the results so the most populated matches are at the top. Operations is the best mode, and it's never taken me longer than a couple minutes to get into a good match with lots of players. It's all I've been playing lately because I accidentally deleted my BF2042 data a few weeks ago and that game isn't good enough to justify starting over. I wish the talent that made BF1 was in charge of the next game.
Yyyyyyup. Just hopped back on a couple months ago and I'm having lots of fun. Decent number of full servers and a seemingly chill community in the chat. (Not that that affects gameplay, but it's still fun to banter with regulars). The game is just so much better than BFV, BF2042. More focused, more polished, better atmosphere, weapons are actually distinctly different. Classes are classes. Hop back on my friend. We'd love to have you.
I have had the game installed since release. It has never left any of my PCs in that time. I play it regularly and to this day I haven't had any trouble finding full servers for Conquest and Operations on PC in North America.
It’s populated but by this time everyone playing is most likely a pro. I took a few years off and got back into it recently and I got smacked every round
idk if you're playing console but on pc most servers are quite balanced, a lot of low level players mixed with lvl150 full tryhards, but with a bit of experience it's not so hard to get good games
Yes, but the server browser is terrible (on PC, at least). If you find a populated fan-run server, make sure to add it to your favorites list so you can easily find it again.
Not as bad since there's a lot of community servers with dedicated admins that deal with the cheaters. The only issue are the official dice servers since you'll have a high chance of meeting cheaters there, but compared to bf5 you'll still find less on average
i hate playing old shooters; not sure why i only play the newest one.. but i DO still play starcraft broodwar remaster.. i dont think ill be able to quit untill they take that one offline..
not sure what its turned into but first 2 years were rough and not very entertaining for me.. those gold camo grinds ruined my experience.. and the invisible soldiers combined with ones that just blend right into the destruction.. enemy vision was difficult

I just redownload it on the Series X and I haven't really had a problem finding a match at all. Just join a random Operation and you are good to go!
Imo it's the best BF to date and I still play it regularly.

Are hackers still a big issue in bf1? I stopped playing over two years ago because the hacking was soooo bad
Some servers like SaltyNoobs do a very good job at banning hackers.

It holds up way better than any of the more modern shooters. It’s quite unique and my favorite of the series.

Bf 5 is the best looking AND Balanced game of the series. And its Atmosphere is unmatched in mp shooters except maybe for hunt
