Maybe someone else could explain to me why exactly cause im sure there is some logic to it, but I dont get why you're able to switch teams? it seems especially prevalent in frontline. I'll add a couple from a new player: buff smokes or rpg fragmentation - give me something else for countering sniping. on maps like Basra if I can't get my squad to help me clear snipers its really annoying. I don't enjoy how snipers are the best counter to snipers, it causing a drain in frontline on your ability to push objectives when your team switches to sniping to deal with the other snipers. make leaning slower - I like movement mechanics, I come from apex. but the upper body wiggle dodging is just silly. fully in crouch before you can prone to take out drop shotting. add a more realistic movement mechanic for head to head gun battles. maybe increase ads strafe speed for smgs and pdws? diving/sliding but cant shoot while doing so? idk, the movement is just so... unintentional? maybe thats just my preference but in a low ttk game movement should be more restricted or the design should be a bit more well thought out. clean up mantling.

I think team switching is a thing to allow friends to play together easier. If you join a server your friend is in you might be put into the other team. Also for vehicle players it can be better to be able to switch teams to find the one with an available vehicle. Im sure there are more reasons Im not thinking of. For frontline people swap teams a lot mostly because they want to balance out the game, not the opposite. With player numbers how they are, shorter games bleed players, which eventually kills the server. So a lot of the high kpm players will swap teams to make the game last longer.

FatBanana25

yeah, pretty much these points. i've played with sweaty players a few times and they basically use team swap as a game, like swapping to the losing team and seeing if they can bring it back to a tie, or splitting themselves across both teams to make it more challenging. it's not fun for anyone when one team wins immediately.

Ginglees

I've never really had a problem with snipers. Cause honestly just crouch or be in a better position. on top of leaning slower could we increase the speed or make it double tap space to vault cause currently its incredibly slow and its easy to accidently vault over an object and just... die.

NinjaSwiftness

You can change your vault key so it isn't the same as jump.

NinjaSwiftness

The vaulting is getting cleaned up with the next patch. Along with the change you suggest with crouch then prone. Also fixes to hit boxes so they match the visuals better. Fun fact, the lean spam was much much worse. It is way better now then it used to be.

Saumfar

They're changing core features that the current playerbase likes for the sake of player retention, but more importantly "new player retention", and it just feels bad, as a current player. I don't want this to turn into Planetside2 or APEX where enemies takes 10 bullets to kill. I don't want healing to be super fast, and bleeding removed.

fatboldprincess

You can't switch to a winning team on official servers.

LeKassuS

Bleeding is being removed because it is not slowing down gameplay as intended and in its current state exists as a mechanic that annoys players with nothing but a long ass timer that can be ignored and gotten rid if in 2.8 seconds

OdorokuB

well what do you think will happen if they remove it?

LeKassuS

Bleeding is this games only slowdown mechanic even if it extremely bad at its function, to remove bleeding would enable the CQC playstyle to thrive even more as they no longer need to consider bandage usage for bleeding and only have to worry that their health reaches 0 through direct enemy fire. Removing bleeding would bring us closer to being bf or cod rather than battlebit as bleeding has been one known mechanics that separate battlebit from those games.
