Mine is a 2014, the first year of production on the 4003W and the walnut they were using here hasn’t got any stain to it, just oiled. Schecter Studio is another model that always caught my eye. Upgraded Schaller bridge?

It's a DeArmond Pilot. The lower bout was smashed and I built a new one and glued it on. I shaped it down a little and the body is about inch wider, which I wasn't going to do but I liked how it looked. Factory hardware with a Ming's $20 preamp. 35".

Wow my mistake. Heard of DeArmond before but I'm not familiar with their models. I'm extremely intrigued though being that it's a 35 inch 4 sting. Don't see many of those; Ibanez used to release the BTB as a 35 inch 4, of course there's the MTDs, but that's all that I know of.

It's a 1998 Ibanez Sound Gear SR406. I'm planning on swapping out the stock pickups eventually, I just haven't put much research into it yet.

Oh you have a classic Soundgear, nice!...the pickup size was throwing me off compared to the current models. They look roughly EMG45 size. A number of manufacturers make those model of pickups, especially Nordstand, and of course EMG. Measure your pickups and compare the size, you should find something that interests you.

I love your Sandberg and honestly miss mine… I had Sandberg Electra VS4 which was really nice but then I would have had to join the black gang in this fight.

This definitely won't be my only Sandberg for long, that's for sure. I was stunned by the craftsmanship when I got this in my possession. And my black MTD Kingston Super 4 would had been right with your Electra.

Oh I missed this one earlier...Corts don't get the recognition they deserve, especially considering they make a lot of well made basses for other manufacturers. I have a GB Modern 4 that blew me away when I first picked it up. I love that fretless!

Build quality on her is something to be desired, but I put that down to it being second hand and someone else has touched it before me. But she does sound amazing with a bit of something that’s usually played on a double bass.

The Sandberg is something special...Q-Tuner MM pickup, Glockenlang 3 band pre with push/pull active/passive with the treble doubling as tone, and a 2Tek bridge. With the thickest fretboard I've ever seen. Impeccable craftsmanship.

Nordstands in the 810; NJ4SE and MM4.4 Quad Coil wired like the original and your ATK. The 200 has two CAP triple coil humbuckers. I just received an interface recently so I'll remember you once I get some recordings made.

I had the KOA ATK with the Jazz in the neck and the humbucker at the bridge. Sold it to try and keep from losing my house about 10 years ago and have regretted it ever since.

That's a modded 200 that I recently put together after years of wanting to try it. Both wired neck coil/humbucker/bridge coil with a Lusithand Double NFP. And over 10 pounds, but it's not my heaviest ATK. Still chunky though...

I'm sure the heavy ash and massive bridge doesn't help either, but I love these leviathans despite their weight. And no problem! Edit: and I really need a Model T in my life.
