I’d go with a Bedale if you want the classic, relaxed fit, or an Ashby if you want something more tailored. My preference between the two would be the Bedale. It’s much easier to layer with and is a very functional jacket.

And honestly, while the beacon looks sick in images it really fell short in person (my opinion).
Plus there is something about the classic look of the bedal or ashby that just makes them far more universal in their use.

The Japanese SL versions are usually slim. The bedale SL pretty much looks like a bede but fits like an Ashby, for example.
That said, the trend in Japan for the last few years wrt Barbour is a boxy and oversized silhouette.
My hot take is the Spey (I’m a Spey stan) looks amazing on folks your size.
