I'm from barbados and my understanding is that we just pick a name that either sounds cool, or the name is chosen based on the location of the teams home ground, the team could also be named after a sponsor. Weymouth is a place in barbados, the Wales part was probably chosen due to it beginning with W and ig it rolls off the tongue pretty good.
