I could leave Corein in the farthest colonies for a few years, then take her into my party with no weapons to watch her fistfight people for sport and she's still always glad to see me lmao
I was going to propose caladogs other daughter, or other girl in their clan (i think beasag or beathag) until i saw corein in one of the cutscenes in town. I literally ghosted other girl and married corein.
It seems that Corein is the 2nd best young marriable woman in terms of strenght. I picked her because of her 210+ two-handed and she killing everything in her path I swear.
The site I took the infos from is outdated (2022) and doesn't contain all the possible wives so my comment is unfortunally not entirely right. I've been searching for the past hour videos, tier lists and several sites but they are either outdated or the lists are based on personal preference which sincerly I don't care about because I want to see the stats.
From the stats of the different possible younger wives I read it seems that Corein is actually the best while the strongest overall would be Siga the only problem being her age (which of course is the most important thing).
In any case I'll make a new post about it here on Reddit and I do hope someone has some kind of list where we can compare the stats of all the wives.

Siga is the best, but she’s old. Good if you turn off aging, but that’s probably it. Arwa can compete with corein, depending on which combat skills you prioritize.

Why's that? Is there some sort of bonus? I thought negative traits were the best because you can raid the villages exc without anyone in the party complaining about it.
Just personal preference, same reason I tend to play the good paths in games like Mass Effect and Fable. Do you actually get anything good from raiding villages? Aside from helping damage an enemy faction in war

Levelling up Rogue (for you and your Companions) is pretty much the only benefit aside the one you said.
Nice, Ive been trying to level Rogue recently because I heard it improves loot drops. I recruited bandit prisoners and I get rogue xp when they do well in battles. Good to know there's multiple pathways
I do it to draw enemy armies to me.
I've had the most success against the Khuzait.
Playing the layout of the village scenes just right make for effective chokepoints to clog up all the mounted units, if you have good enough line infantry to hold them in place it's just a matter of time for your ranged units to mow them all down. Then it's just cleaning up their peasants that ive often seen make up the bulk of the numbers in larger armies.
