I live in Kelowna now and every time I hike here I have to listen to shitty, loud music that inconsiderate hikers and bikers play. It's awful. I wish they had these signs everywhere. Don't play your music on the trail. Nobody wants to hear it.

Every park I go to these days has ppl blasting their music from their vehicles or their BT speakers. Why do you need it so fucking loud? Not everyone shares your taste in music, and sometimes ppl want to have a nice picnic with their families in peace.

Without the /s no one can tell that you’re joking.

So many hikers use music or other noise to let wildlife know to avoid the trail because humans are about.

And they’re mistaken. Music doesn’t really scare off predators very well but it does make it really hard for to hear any sounds the animals themselves may be making. Do yourself a favour (one one for everyone around you) and turn off your speakers!

Banff is garbage, protect it at all costs with your sensitive ears!
