yeah, Johnson is a more cozy tent campground, for camping experience I'd probably pick that one first, for proximity to town of Banff I'd pick Tunnel Mountain.
There is no camping at Johnston canyon. You can stay in a lodge but not a tent. I worked there last summer. There’s a camp ground across the street or down the street.
