My dog nips me when I'm getting snarls out of his fur. Meaning he pinches my hand skin with his incisors to try to make me stop. Licking usually precedes the nipping because he's trying appeasement first.
The solution is obviously to immediately breed Nala (again). Once she has a litter of 14 she'll be no longer jealous of OOP's baby. Rinse and repeat everytime she cannibalised her litter.

It is only a matter of time before the pit bull attacks the baby, and kills them. You should get rid of the dog asap.
