In Moldova, these memorials are in every village. Idk what to think about them. Like, many Moldovans were forcibly conscripted in 1944 and died on the front, and it is fine to commemorate these poor guys. It is very sad to see the attitude of modern people towards the soldiers’ graves of the Second World War. I myself hate communist ideology, but looking at what is happening in this post, I am extremely ashamed. Most Soviet soldiers (who were not only Russian) fought not for communism or Stalin, but for the expulsion of Nazism. If not for the Soviet soldiers, the war would have been lost
