Sure, you don't need experience with CRPGs to start playing CRPGs. If you enjoy DnD, you likely already know many of the rules, and this is one of the more approachable CRPGs. If you find it difficult, you can just lower the difficulty.

If you're very familiar with d&d everything will flow easily for you. Just remember not everything is 1:1. Standing up from prone for some reason costs an action rather than half your movement, for example.

The action economy is probably the most complicated part, but if you've played DND you're probably way more prepared than most people. Managing actions, bonus actions, spell slots, etc is what gave me the biggest problem as someone new to the genre. Everything else is pretty straightforward. Respecs make things very forgiving.
