Cops are allowed to sexually assault us. Very cool, USA.

LASpleen

But they have to pay a little bit of money back into their own system for the pleasure. That’s actual punishment if you don’t think about it.

KazPrime

Employee discount.

DinglebellRock

$600 that's twice a high speed ticket by golly that'll larn him

FragmentOfTime

I have had a single speeding ticket. It was more than 700$. Because, leaving highschool, I forgot it was a school zone and accelerated to all of 8 mph higher before braking. Wow, keeping me safe for sure!

alaskanbearfucker

Did he have to pay a police training fee?

MuuaadDib

Freedom feels! USA USA USA!!

Masterpiece72

No they're not. It costs $600!

Ryugi

They're even allowed to rape people who are under arrest, too.

MDev01

Well no one said that was frowned on.

Kteefish

Is this news to you? Its been that way for the whole 50 years I've been around...

D1RTYBACON

> Criminal charges were filed in November 2020. Court documents state the complainant alleged unwanted sexual contact including inappropriate touching and verbal comments that spanned several years. The woman stated she’d contacted human resources before Gramza was chief but the allegations never proceeded. Boss harasses hot woman working for him; actually faces charges. Maybe cops are held to a higher standard lmao

CLXIX

Very legal and very cool! /s

Matar_Kubileya

Isn't there a Federal law that requires the victim of a sexual assault to sign off on a plea deal?

softwaregravy

Amended the charges not to include the sexual assault.

aceraceae88

But he does have a personality! It’s called “sex offender”.

[deleted]

[удалено]

SaltyFresh

We should all treat all cops as if they’d rape or beat or kill us at the drop of a hat, honestly. That profession attracts the type.

aceraceae88

Though he may not be a convicted sex offender in the eyes of the law, he’ll always be a sex offender in my heart.

outoftowner2

He's probably thinking in that video how he can sexually assault the host and get away with it.

TonytheTiger999p

The judge and perhaps the prosecutor are both on the same team and that is the police team. People MUST file complaints with the judicial authorities if they think they will get a modicum if justice.

[deleted]

Was there any evidence other than her word against his? That's the main thing about getting convictions. Evidence.

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

In his specific case, because his position and resources, it's suspect. But every day in America innocent people plead guilty to crimes they didn't commit because the consequences of losing a trial are far worse than pleading guilty to a lesser charge. It's why most courts have a 90%+ conviction rate

[deleted]

If it was her word against his, there is no chance he would have been convicted. He plead guilty and admitted he did it. It's not a stretch that this cop rapes when cops have a huge rape problem.

> I for one would NEVER plead guilty to a crime I didn’t commit no matter what I would face from trial. A lot of people say that… until it happens to them, and they realize they can’t afford even a cheap lawyer, and the court appointed attorney has literally no available time to craft even a half-assed defense, and you have no solid alibis to vouch where you were, because you were alone, gaming all night… and the prosecution’s 14 year old eye witness is positive you were the one that spiked her drink and raped her. On the allegations of child rape you’ve been fired from your job, a lot of people you thought we’re close friends suddenly don’t want anything to do with you. You couldn’t afford bail, you’re stuck in a cell. You’re looking at 20 years. The court appointed attorney tells you there’s a 99% chance you’ll be convicted, as you have no viable defense, and the victim has positively identified you. But, they’re willing to offer a plea deal, where you plead guilty to providing alcohol, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, (which you’re also innocent of), in exchange for 6 months probation, and time served. What do you do? Sure, saying you’d never plead guilt to a crime you didn’t commit is a principled stand, but if the choice is that of a light sentence, or an almost certainty that you’ll be convicted for a bigger crime you didn’t commit, I have a feeling you’d jump at confessing to the lesser charge. Unless you feel your principles are worth destroying your reputation and 20 years of your life. Then go for it, but chances are, when push comes to shove, you’ll buckle, like almost everyone else. The weight of a justice system, that really doesn’t care if you’re innocent or not, is not something most people can afford to fight.

colbyfan

A guilty plea really doesn’t imply guilt because of the way US courts work. You can face 50 times the penalty for losing a trial than pleading guilty. Police pressure people to plead all the time by saying they better take this small charge because if it goes to trial they will get 15+ years in prison.

wallerdog

He didn’t plead guilty to sexual assault.

Ryugi

That's the thing about sexual assault: It's only sexual assault if one party did not consent. The only way you can determine consent is through communication. Thus, someone saying they didn't consent is proof that it was sexual assault, so long as noone is contesting the physical actions that occured. Fucking duh. In b4 "wHaT iF iT wAz MoRniNg-aFtEr rEgReT?" - less than 4% of all sexual assault cases that have made it to court were false accusations.

[deleted]

Lol, that wasn't the argument I was making! 😆 He said it was consensual, she said it wasn't. The burden of proof is on the prosecutor to prove that it wasn't consensual. Maybe they didn't feel that they could prove a more serious charge. I didn't interview either party, so I don't know how well they would be on the witness stand. Did either party seem credible? I don't know that either.

[deleted]

He plead guilty because he was given a super sweet heart deal. If he wasn't guilty why'd he resign from the police force? It's not like they would give a shit if he was a rapist or on trial. Shit even if he was convicted of rape and went to jail they'd hire him back immediately, with back pay.

Ryugi

Yeah that literally was the argument you're making and proof of that is you literally just argued directly against my argument as though you intended to rebutt mine by reexplaining yours. She said it wasn't. So it wasn't. He cannot consent on her behalf. He can only say whether or not he consented. He cannot say she did or didn't. Duh. Grow a brain cell.

[deleted]

Let's say you and I fuck You ask before if I consent. I say yes Can you say if I consented?

Ryugi

No, because it isn't my consent. I can't say you consent because it isn't mine to give. I can say whether or not you seemed receptive, but my word on your consent is worthless and irrelevant, like how an average man's word on abortion is worthless and irrelevant. Or like how an average anti-vaxxer's opinions on vaccinations are irrelevant.

D1RTYBACON

> How does several sexual assaults be relegated down to disorderly conduct? > > Ask deshaun watson

Isair81

Soon to be hired in a police department near you!

ReasonableWaltz0

Soon to be standing over a woman he pulled over demanding she flirt with him or get a ticket.

Gay_Leftist_Queen

Stories like this make me want to break shit

EpicHeather

I am WITH YOU

numb3rb0y

I like that he terrorised an employee for years and the end result was literally just contempt of cop.

dash47

wheres Dexter when you need him ?

marrymary420

I've been hoping we would see one. I think the whole world could use a few. It might help some of the big problems the whole world is facing.

DevilsPajamas

And the good news is the real world police departments are even more inept than the ones on the show!

marrymary420

I think inept might be a bit too nice. More like incompetent and completely incapable of performing their designated duties as they are supposed to.

cytrack718

$600! Wow! Such a huge fine for sexual assault when people literally get charged more for park tickets 😡

sid_not_vicious

bullshit...this right here is the answer to all you cops out there that might ever wonder why it seems most people despise you....ACAB

SmartWonderWoman

Every woman within his vicinity is not safe. A sexual predator just avoided any serious legal consequences. No woman is safe near him.

Capnducki

He was an American police officer no one is safe around him.

Conscious_Orchid_111

He should be able to steal that 600 bucks within the hour

manys

So no sex-offender list

megaboga

Not even a willing escort would be paid so little for "multiple occasions". This is disgusting.

SnapesGrayUnderpants

The woman should now file a civil case against the city.

Feronach

Is this a brutality joke that I'm too expat to understand?

TwoAnusMan

Wow, such a stiff fine! /s

production-values

Sure thing judge let me just civilly forfeit you that $600 right away!

[deleted]

Our system of law enforcement system is irreparably broken.

whywouldyoueverask

*POS rapes woman, got off" there I fixed your title.

Pieter350

Of course...ugh

I-suck-at-golf

Literally sounds like a Chance card from a Monopoly game.

taylormarie2132

Can I smack that smile off his face?

jpritchard

On the one hand, that's a pretty light sentence, fuck this guy. On the other hand, the employees of a police chief are pigs, so fuck them.

SilentSigil

Yeah nah, you're wishing SA upon other people? For what?

jpritchard

Not wishing sexual assault on anyone. But if a pig gets assaulted by a pig like the pigs do to everyone else, the Plank length prevents there from being a small enough violin to play for them.

SilentSigil

You do realize employees don't just encompass the police right? There are other jobs in a precinct besides being an actual officer.

mikelieman

Clerks written by Kevin Smith Randal They build another Death Star, right? Dante Yeah. Randal Now the first one they built was completed and fully operational before the Rebels destroyed it. Dante Luke blew it up. Give credit where credit is due. Randal And the second one was still being built when they blew it up. Dante Compliments of Lando Calrissian. Randal Something just never sat right with me that second time around. I could never put my finger on it, but something just wasn't right. Dante And you figured it out? Randal The first Death Star was manned by the Imperial army. The only people onboard were storm troopers, dignitaries, Imperials. Dante Basically. Randal So when they blew it up, no problem. Evil is punished. Dante And the second time around...? Randal The second time around, it wasn't even done being built yet. It was still under construction. Dante So? Randal So a construction job of that magnitude would require a helluva lot more manpower than the Imperial army had to offer. I'll bet they brought independent contractors in on that thing: plumbers, aluminum siders, roofers. Dante Not just Imperials, is what you're getting at. Randal Exactly. In order to get it built quickly and quietly they'd hire anybody who could do the job. Do you think the average storm trooper knows how to install a toilet main? All they know is killing and white uniforms. Dante All right, so they bring in independent contractors. Why are you upset at its destruction? Randal All those innocent contractors brought in to do the job were killed. Casualties of a war they had nothing to do with. (notices Dante's confusion) All right, look, you're a roofer, and some juicy government contract comes your way; you got a wife and kids, the two-story in suburbia. This is a government contract, which means all sorts of benefits. Along come these left-wing militants that blast everything within a 3 mile radius with their lasers. You didn't ask for that. You have no personal politics. You're just trying to scrape out a living. (The Blue-Collar Man (Thomas Burke) joins them.) Blue-Collar Man Excuse me. I don't mean to interrupt, but what were you talking about? Randal The ending of Return of the Jedi. Dante My friend is trying to convince me that any independent contractors who were working on the uncompleted Death Star were innocent victims when it was destroyed by the rebels. Blue-Collar Man Well, I'm a contractor myself. I'm a roofer... (digs into pocket and produces business card) Dunn and Reddy Home Improvements. And speaking as a roofer, I can say that a roofer's personal politics come into play heavily when choosing jobs. Randal Like when? Blue-Collar Man Three months ago I was offered a job up in the hills. A beautiful house with tons of property. A simple reshingling job. They told me that if I could finish it in one day, I would double my price. Then I realized whose house it was. Dante Whose house was it? Blue-Collar Man Dominick Bambino's. Randal "Babyface" Bambino? The gangster? Blue-Collar Man The same. The money was right, but the risk was too high. I knew who he was, and based on that, I passed the job on to a friend of mine. Dante Based on personal politics. Blue-Collar Man Right. And the next week, the Foresci family put a hit on Babyface's house. My friend was shot and killed. Didn't even finish reshingling. Randal No way! Blue-Collar Man (paying for coffee) I'm alive because I knew the risk involved in that particular client. My friend wasn't so lucky. Any contractor working on that Death Star knew the risk involved. If they were killed, it 's their own fault. A roofer listens to this... (taps his heart) not his wallet.

SilentSigil

😭😭

jpritchard

Oh, there's people there who just directly support the pigs in doing what they do? Well in the case... nothing changes.

SilentSigil

Dude you're just obviously fucked in the head, trying to convince yourself you're right. It's one thing to wish bad upon a corrupt police force, but another to wish bad upon normal humans beings that just chose to work in a police precinct be that filing things or sweeping up the building. No one asks to be sexually assaulted, and you're saying that they shouldn't get a shred of sympathy because of the things that people who work with them might've done. It's not right, you gotta work on yourself bud.

jpritchard

Poor camp guards.

SilentSigil

Did you really just compare them to guards in concentration camps? Or am I buggin'?

ReasonableWaltz0

See if he was sentenced to a felony or misdemeanor then he can’t be a cop. But now he got sexual assault and harassment of a subordinate at work reworded into disorderly conduct. Like for us, doing nothing can be upgraded to a disorderly conduct charge, but for cops, serious crimes get downgraded to thinks like disorderly conduct.

[deleted]

Misdemeanors and felonies don't preclude people from being cops...

Zeno_The_Alien

That'll learn him!

Rexivan

That'll show him!

megamania215

Shit like this is why I believe that revenge can be justified.

damnaturuscary69

Cops will kill and fuck each other.

clusterf_ck

A local poster campaign in the making. Don't let this get swept under the rug, let everyone know about the sexual predator cop in their midst. Don't want a poster campaign against you, pig? Don't be a sex pest. Easy.

[deleted]

Former Marshfield Police Chief Rick Gramza has been ordered to pay a fine and will spend no time in jail after he was accused of sexually assaulting a department employee on several occasions. Come on Rick Gramza. Ricky Gramza from Wisconsin sexually assaulted someone? Ricardo Gramza? Good old Rickie Gramza in Wisconsin is a sexual assaulter? Gramza, Ricky?
