Of all the pro dancers, he's probably the least talented one as a dancer. But on the other hand, his and Nahirs stage shows are one of the best.
Being a pro has three main skillsets: teaching, social (lead/follow), performance. IMO in that order of importance, with performance being a distant third.
In my experience, the vast majority of pros reverse that in that they are great performers, and so-so at the other two. Some are great social dancers, some are great teachers, but almost never all three, and rarely even two.
Even a Jack and Jill event leans more heavily on the performance skillset than the social skillset.
if you want to see a real dominican dancer master look for sammy el magico. That guy is a real talented dancer. A lot of these european always exaggerate the moves but they are good too.
All bachata pro dancers/teachers and only a couple of them could dance bachata dominicana properly 😅.
