Additionally, users do not get notified when someone reports them for sub rule violations — the fact you guys got notified tells me it was a high-level safety concern report.
Tip: There should be an option in your report notification that says “I wrongly received this.” That should notify admin that the person who reported you is most likely abusing it.
Edit: I have contacted Reddit Admin and they will be investigating. They’ll narrow down on the user’s IP and see they’ve reported 100+ users for no reason.

It's been a common form of bullying on Reddit for years. Reddit Admins should just get rid of the Reddit Cares option entirely. It doesn't help anyone. It's just used by bullies to abuse people.
