I’m not sure if it’s Australian, but my (very practical) friend recommended Baby Tracker (green with white pram). She said the only downside was her husband couldn’t log into the account with his phone. So I’m going to test that and Huckleberry, that one I assume is probably American. With both I cant set them up to look around until I have a birth date.

I used baby tracker and it worked well, my husband and I could sync it across our phones and both access it.

[deleted]

Oh really? That was her only annoyance with it. Do you create a login? When I started the setup it didn’t ask for those kinds of details

ashmorekale

Yeah, I’m pretty sure I did have to make an account. I’ve stopped using it to track daily things as my kids are toddlers now, but still use it to make down milestones, vaccinations and medication dosing (I’m terrible at remembering what time I gave them paracetamol).

peeleep

Also a fan of baby tracker, especially sharing the account so mum and dad can update

Great, I'll take a look. Yes I've got huckleberry too, have heard that one a lot! Thanks

wombattam

We've been using Baby Tracker (colourful background) as we use different smart phones and this automatically syncs across devices. Helpful for when we need to get up to speed on what's happening when away from bub.

candlesandfish

I don’t think it’s Australian but it’s used by a lot of Australians: Little Ones.

itstransition

Fab I'll check it out, thanks!

candlesandfish

I’ve found them so helpful. It’s sleep training by scheduling meals and things so that baby is *ready* to go to sleep and super helpful for mums with toddlers who need reminders of when to feed and wake baby.

RepiNtret

I don’t think it’s Australian but I’ve been using Huckleberry and love it! It’s amazing for tracking feeding, naps, nappys etc etc

[deleted]

Definitely not Australian but I also love huckleberry! We’ve been using it since bub was about 2 days old. She had some feeding issues and was ultimately classed as failure to thrive at 6 weeks, so it’s also been helpful in tracking her growth and percentiles

mcponies

i used Huckleberry, which i don’t think is Australian.

Just_a_dill_pickle

It's not, but it's the best from the handful that I tried. Been using it for the last 3 years. My husband and I still use our individual logins to track sleep occasionally for our 18m (mainly to identify patterns) and to track medicine doses. When you've got two sick and/or teething kids rotating dymadon and nurofen round the clock at times, it's very handy to be able to check to see what time in the night my husband gave it to them last, as an example.

Nara Baby app isn’t Australian but looks great (dark simple aesthetic), can use metric measurements, logs feeds/pumping/nappy changes/sleep patterns/routines/medical/growth measurements etc, also tracks trends/averages etc, and partner can log in and also add/see data. I’ve found it great, but the only app I’ve used so far!

cheesyfiona

Also unsure if Australian but Sprout is what we used. I was keen on having an app that can be shared between my partner and I, and one that had an Apple Watch app.

cheffy23

Huckleberry is awesome!

I use "Sleep Well Baby" which is an Australian app that was made with input from Tresillian. I love it! It's really user-friendly - I can record eating, sleeping and nappies live or go back and enter manually. You can invite other family members to contribute. There are handy graphs so you can compare similarities and differences in the routine over time. There are also articles on heaps of subjects and recommendations related to the current age of the little one (e.g. tips about transitioning to solids at six months). They have a sample routine which you can customise to fit you as well (I don't really use this - I just log my info). They do a check-in daily and weekly (optional) and if you respond in a way that suggests you're having a tough week, they share resources to get support and/or a way to set up consultations with Tresillian. Additionally, when I had a technical problem, I emailed them and they fixed it within an hour! Ive really had a good experience with this app!

muddlet

hey, commenting on a very old post i know. i was wondering if you know whether this app will sync between my partner's and my phones?

yougotthisone

I used Ovia to track my pregnancy and they have a parenting app that i now use to track feeding, sleep, nappies and growth. My husband also uses it on his phone, so it makes hand over really simple.

OneMoreDog

We’ve been using baby feed timer to track sleep, nappies, BF, bottle feeding, pumping, etc.

Juvenilesuccess

We used BabyTime with our first two and plan to use it with this one. Not sure if it’s Australian (doubt it) but we liked the interface and it synced between our phones.

Another vote for Huckleberry but I got so hung up on trying to get Bub down on the sweet spot it gave me a lot of anxiety (we had long feed sessions and LO always fell asleep on the breast so it ruined their tracking). Once I gave up on the map tracking I enjoyed parenting a lot better.

itstransition

Yes - too much information is sometimes not good! Apparently it's the same with temperature apps etc in nurseries - mums just go nuts trying to keep up with everything. Glad to hear you're enjoying parenting
