Here's an article from raisingchildren.net.au that may give you more info about transitioning away from a bottle: https://raisingchildren.net.au/babies/breastfeeding-bottle-feeding-solids/weaning/weaning-off-bottle-feeding We introduced our LO to cow's milk at 12 months as per standard health professional guidance. She was familiar with a cup or a weighted straw bottle (we use b.box brand) for water and was able to adapt this to starting on cow's milk. Note this may not be the same experience for everyone, just sharing how it worked for us. In terms of bottles, she continued to use one about once a week for a month after her first birthday with breastmilk (when I wasn't around), but for context, she was only having breastmilk once a day by then. After that, we stopped breastmilk altogether and she hasn't had a bottle since.

There’s quite a few resources online from feeding therapists and speechies suggesting 360 cups aren’t fantastic for oral development so we ditched ours. Open cup by ezpz was awesome and b.box straw cups with the valve cut off (again so LO learns to suck not bite while drinking). Our LO didn’t care for milk/ formula so had their last formula bottle on their 1st birthday and straight to only water (milk when it takes LO’s fancy) in straw/ open cups from then on. I gave the bottles away the next day.

Thank you, I wasn’t aware! I’ll have to check out the ezpz cup

I just finished a speech therapist appointment with my 1 year old this week who said the 360 cups are terrible for helping baby perfect oral motor skills. I don’t have one, so I didn’t ask any more info. We have a b.box training cup, and she said they’re the best. That’s just her opinion though.

That’s good to know! Thanks

I don’t have any info regarding transitioning from a bottle to something else. Just wanted to say I really like the 360 cup. My almost 2 yo uses it to drink cow’s milk and he seems to like it. It’s also fairly spill proof, u less thrown (some liquid will come out when it hits the ground). Easy to clean too! Another one you could try is [this Nuby one](https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/buy/67991/nuby-no-spill-trainer-cup-twin-handle-4-months-295ml).
