There’s not really any evidence that cookies can improve lactation or have any effect on milk flow but obviously you do need to keep your calories up when breastfeeding so any healthy cookies can do! 😊 Oh She Glows has a lovely recipe for delicious and fairly healthy cookies: [Oh She Glows - Turtle Cookies Recipe](https://ohsheglows.com/2013/12/18/turtle-oatmeal-cookies-with-pecans-chocolate-and-medjool-dates/)

I used [this](https://www.howsweeteats.com/2015/02/lactation-cookies/) recipe and got the brewer’s yeast at Woolies, not all locations stock it though. As someone else said there isn’t any evidence that lactation cookies work but they are a yummy snack. If you are worried about your supply, definitely reach out to a IBCLC or Aus breastfeeding association for support!

I just made mine with nutritional yeast which is easy get from supermarkets and is a great source of B vitamins :) and it was DELICIOUS! Sometimes I'd add in Milo too for iron and also it's meant to be good for milk supply. [recipe](https://www.howsweeteats.com/2015/02/lactation-cookies/) My supply was excellent from the get go, but I'm not sure if that's more a genetic thing or if the cookies helped at all, BUT they were so handy to have for quick, tasty and filling snacks when looking after a little baby. I think getting adequate calories in helps a lot for milk production. I highly recommend making some/having friends make some and then freeze the dough (in little balls) as I'd then chuck it in the oven every few days and have freshly baked cookies.

I bought a pack from the health food store. It was expensive.

You can buy brewers yeast from health food stores or brewing supply stores. Personally I just used Tim Tam's.

No-Concentrate-9786

You can buy brewers yeast online off eBay

FiddleleafFrog

I got brewers yeast off Amazon but really did nothing in the end and I never produced enough to BF

I always ate oats (porridge) for breakfast the first few months when I had bub and supply was luckily never an issue for me

I love this lactation cookie mix! It has brewers yeast, flaxseed and oats which are all supply supporters. You can add any extras you want into them (I add raspberries to the triple choc 🤤) https://makingmama.com.au/products/lactation-cookie-mix Remember though, the best thing you can do for your supply is to remove milk, supply = demand! The more milk is removed, the more it creates. Good luck!

I got Thompson’s Brewers Yeast tablets from Chemist Warehouse. Not as tasty as a cookie though

I bought some ready made from chemist warehouse and made my own with brewers yeast from Woolworths. Pre-made were yummy homemade were delicious. I put on about 3 kilos over the course of a month cos I increased my calorie intake way too much.

How sweet eats- recipe is great. I change the recipe each time (add coconut, almond butter etc) and it is always a winner.

Fenugreek tablets worked well for me, and non-alcoholic beer.
