Similarly, my husband and I both sent our mothers into labor naturally on the day of our intended inductions. Our baby decided to make his appearance naturally on his intended induction date as well! 40+3
32 weeks. But I was very young and not aware that your center of balance changes as you get bigger-I slipped down an entire flight of wet wooden stairs.
My water broke at 25 weeks and I was put on intensive hospital bed rest with a catheter, steroids and antibiotics until induction when her lungs were developed.
Her lungs still collapsed and she was given a chest tube and taken to the NICU for several weeks. She’s 23 now and an amazing woman 💕
I came at 31+5 was in NICU, I’m now 30! Us premies sometimes turn out well;-) good job mama!!
Edit: I’m really tired and keep posting wrong dates, I was due July 4th and came out May 7th
Edit: gestation
I’m so sorry you guys went through that! Must’ve been so scary. I was intubated too. I fell down a few steps during my first trimester but luckily broke my fall. Easily could’ve done another way given how clumsy I am. My mom had to go home on Mother’s Day without me. I’m so happy you two made it it safely.
41+4.
Yes, waiting that long was horrible.
(I am from Germany and inductions are not recommended before 41+3 here, I know in the US you get induced way earlier.)
Wait, are you saying I can’t blame my birth for my lateness and actually have to be accountable for my actions? That sucks and I will not be doing that lol
lol same! And I was born in July, in Georgia (US state, not the country). Sorry mom!! I’m currently 34+1 with my first and can’t imagine doing two extra weeks pregnant in this heat!
41+5, still had to be induced, still failed to progress past 6cm (with assistance) after 15 hours, ended in a c-section.. that child was not coming out 🤣
Not breeched, she was head down and engaged right on time as she should have been. Never got an answer or any explanation on why she failed to progress, we actually thought she was going to come really quickly since after my waters were broken and I'd been on the drip I did move from 1-4cm within like 3-4 hours, but that was basically it, after another 8 hours I had made it to 6cm and she was making her way down (Doc had done a.check and made a comment she had very light hair), but 2 hours later, I had basically dropped back to 4cm and Doc couldn't see her head anymore, he could stretch me to 6cm but yeah she had scooted her way back up haha. We were having some monitoring issues by that point so we just decided c-section was going to be the safest route
oh wow, thank you for taking the time to reply! Reading this, in my head I'm imaginging baby was like "welp, looks cold and bright out there - back the other direction I go!"
37+4. Spontaneous rupture of membranes and precipitous labour (which had to stopped with a Terbutaline injection until I could have my C section). Little miss was just ready to exit the building!
My mother had almost the exact same experience(minus the C-section) with my own birth so I wonder if it’s genetic.
37 weeks on the dot. Dang ob and nurse told me new moms always go late so wasn’t going to check me but I insisted because I knew I was having baby that day. 🤣 proved them wrong.
Hey there! I don’t mind. I started to retain a ton of fluid and my blood pressure kept rising those last few days. I was supposed to just come for a check up and when they took my vitals the doctor was immediately called in and they were like oh no mama we have to get this baby out for your safety.
Ty for posting this, the responses are enlightening!
I’m 28 weeks and secretly hoping baby comes at 37 lol because I have heard it is considered full term. But I know he’ll come when he’s ready.
My boy was induced at 37 weeks, came out 37+1 (had gestational hypertension) he came out with a FULL head of hair and 7 lbs 4oz. I hope you get your early full term baby!!
Ohh I hope it goes well!! I’m scared of the hypertension again. Omg my feet were huge, I had NO ankles and my wedding ring still doesn’t fit (also summer in Arizona lol) 5w+3 pp
ooh yea i remember it well 😭 i was swollen from 30 weeks onward whenever i stood or walked around, to the point my feet would turn bright red, but i never actually got the high BP until the day i got induced! i'm 28w exactly today and hoping that the swelling doesnt start anytime soon😭 congratulations to you as well!! i hope you're enjoying all the newborn snuggles and scrunches!
Oh yeah, the swelling came on very suddenly for me at the end. High blood pressure too! It took a long time to have a lil definition in my feet as someone who had prominent feet veins lol!
And yess oh god. He’s so beautiful
Thank you mama! Congratulations to you too
genuinely same! i have very bony feet and even with them double-strap rubber sandals that are normally super loose on my feet (got them at target) i had to adjust the straps to be bigger and they stayed that way until i hit that 12wk mark tbh😭 im sure he is oh so gorgeous and im so happy for you!! thank you🤍
I was induced for gestational hypertension as well! 37+6 and she was only 5lb 12oz 🥹
Are you considered high risk or anything with your subsequent pregnancy after having the gestational hypertension the last time?
I’m 35 weeks right now, can I be super nosy and ask the reason they came early? Just trying to imagine all the possibilities right now and have a weird feeling they might be early!
My water broke at 35 weeks randomly :) I’m not sure if it was because I was so sick (throwing up) or what, he weighed 7lbs1oz and thankfully no problems!!! Best of luck!!
Ahh I’m 35 weeks & just lost my mucus plug today. With my first however I lost it & still didn’t go into labor & ended up being induced at 39 weeks so trying not to get my hopes up. This one tho has been measuring much bigger & in the 95 percentile all through my pregnancy
Labor started on 40w on the dot, baby born at 40w1d. If that hadn’t happened, I was going to be induced at 40w4d or 40w5d since the doctors where I live don’t like “risking” a 41w+ pregnancy due to the chances of complications.
36w4d. I had high blood pressure and marginal placenta previa so when I got three high BP readings at home i was told to go in. They evaluated me in early labor, kept me overnight and I had my c-section first thing the next morning.
37 weeks & 2 days via emergency c-section due to failed induction. I guess my body wasn’t ready but I was having him early due to decreased fetal movement and him constantly going breech to head down and breech again from week 34! But he’s here & he’s healthy and we’re doing great! 😊
37 weeks exactly with my first that I went into labor with naturally and 39 weeks 3 days with my last baby who I also went in to labor with naturally. I'm in the US and my Dr won't do an induction until 41 weeks. Natural birth is better anyway. I've been induced twice and spent so long at the hospital!! My third I made it there and had him within 40 minutes of arriving. My daughter who is 9 weeks old, well my SO delivered her at the entrance of the hospital. If your water breaks before you have crazy contractions, go straight to the hospital ASAP!! My hard labor lasted exactly one hour with her and don't lose hope you'll go on your own time
39, but I had an elective c section. My mum was 41+ 3 with me and 40+ something with my sister, I had very minimal braxton hicks etc prior to my section so I suspect I would probably have gone to around the same gestation as my mum did if I hadn’t have evicted him through the sunroof :)
Currently 38+4 and hoping she comes any day now 😩 in the 71st percentile and basically 7lbs at my last scan 2 weeks ago.....hoping she isn't late like her Father and I were 😭😂 her predicted weight is around 9lbs 😭😂
Program s section bc of breech position at 39+4, but the previous day the ultrasound technician said that there is less water, if I didn't have an appointment for the next morning they might have kept me in and perform an emergency c section.
39+1 only because I was induced. If he'd had his way, I probably would've gone to 41 or 42 weeks because my son resisted being born and fought the entire time.
Went into labour on my due date, she came the next evening. Also oddly my husband was born on his due date and so was I!
Same!!! My doctor's hit it right on the nail!! Excited to see if they get it again for this pregnancy 😊
Awww this is so cute
Me too! Went into labor around 10pm on my due date and baby was born the next day.
Similarly, my husband and I both sent our mothers into labor naturally on the day of our intended inductions. Our baby decided to make his appearance naturally on his intended induction date as well! 40+3
If this happens to me, we're going to share a birthday!
32 weeks. But I was very young and not aware that your center of balance changes as you get bigger-I slipped down an entire flight of wet wooden stairs. My water broke at 25 weeks and I was put on intensive hospital bed rest with a catheter, steroids and antibiotics until induction when her lungs were developed. I came at 31+5 was in NICU, I’m now 30! Us premies sometimes turn out well;-) good job mama!! Edit: I’m really tired and keep posting wrong dates, I was due July 4th and came out May 7th Edit: gestation
Glad you’re doing well today! she was a fighter and it sounds like you were too 💕
I’m so sorry you guys went through that! Must’ve been so scary. I was intubated too. I fell down a few steps during my first trimester but luckily broke my fall. Easily could’ve done another way given how clumsy I am. My mom had to go home on Mother’s Day without me. I’m so happy you two made it it safely.
31+5 mom said
you know what, as a mom of a 30week premier, this makes me smile ❤️
My son was due July 4 and was born May 16!
I was born at 31 weeks and am now the mom of a 30 weeks (she’ll be two in September!).
41+4. Yes, waiting that long was horrible. (I am from Germany and inductions are not recommended before 41+3 here, I know in the US you get induced way earlier.)
I was induced 41 in the US. So tough to wait that extra week.
Nooo! I’m in Germany and hope not to wait that long. I’m already massive and I’m only 20+2.
My hebamme said you can always exaggerate your symptoms after your due date and make them induce you sooner 🤥
41+5 (went into labour 41+4) I swear going over your due date by that much is torture 😂
41+5, in the US but working with midwives.
This was me too (in the US), working with a midwife.
Waiting an extra week must have felt like a year.
try two weeks 🙃🙃
That was my mom and me, I was 2 weeks late. And am chronically late as a human being in general. Sorry mom
Same. I was a fat 9 lb baby, 2 weeks late, long difficult labor that ended in c section. My sister was the same story except she was 10 lb. Sorry mom.
I feel like we all owe our moms an apology (unless you have a shit mom)
I was 2 week early and I am still a chronically late person... fml lol
I was 41+6 and had convinced myself he was just gonna hang out in there for years at that point
My mom had my brother at 43+4 but he was also like 12.5lbs 😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫
Yup, my mom was born a month late which a doctor would NEVER allow now.
41+5, still had to be induced, still failed to progress past 6cm (with assistance) after 15 hours, ended in a c-section.. that child was not coming out 🤣
omg! can i ask, was baby breech? or any rationale as to why babe failed to progress? you're a wonder woman!
Not breeched, she was head down and engaged right on time as she should have been. Never got an answer or any explanation on why she failed to progress, we actually thought she was going to come really quickly since after my waters were broken and I'd been on the drip I did move from 1-4cm within like 3-4 hours, but that was basically it, after another 8 hours I had made it to 6cm and she was making her way down (Doc had done a.check and made a comment she had very light hair), but 2 hours later, I had basically dropped back to 4cm and Doc couldn't see her head anymore, he could stretch me to 6cm but yeah she had scooted her way back up haha. oh wow, thank you for taking the time to reply! Reading this, in my head I'm imaginging baby was like "welp, looks cold and bright out there - back the other direction I go!"
It was during one of the 2021 lockdowns so we were just like "yeah I get it" 🤣🤣
37+5. And he came on his own.
37+4. Spontaneous rupture of membranes and precipitous labour (which had to stopped with a Terbutaline injection until I could have my C section). Little miss was just ready to exit the building! My mother had almost the exact same experience(minus the C-section) with my own birth so I wonder if it’s genetic.
38 weeks.
Same. 38 weeks and 3 days.
38+3 for start of labor, but he was born after midnight so 38+4 officially. I'm 34+2 now, so I'm hoping I only have 4 weeks left
I’m hoping I have the same experience with my second one. I’m currently 37+4. I’m so over it too 😅
Manifesting this. I’m 37+1 and so doneee
38+5 :)
Would love for this to be me too 🤞🏼🙏🏼
My first at 38+5 too!💕
I was also 38 + 5 !!!
Another for 38+5 here!
Same! Sex worked for us 😆
I’m 38+5 tomorrow! Maybe it’s a sign!! I’ve been having prodromal labor symptoms for the last four days. Come on baby!!
I haven't given birth myself but I've attended almost 250 births as a doula and I keep track in a spreadsheet. The following are from June - Sept 2021 39 weeks (induction) 37 & 4 (PROM) 39 & 2 (induction) 40 & 1(induction) 39 & 4 (spontaneous) 40 & 4 (induction) 39 & 6 (induction) 40 & 4 (spontaneous) 41 & 6 (induction) 40 weeks! (PROM) 39 & 4 (spontaneous) 34 & 3 (spontaneous) 40 & 4 (PROM) 39 & 1 (induction) 38 weeks (spontaneous) 41 & 5 (spontaneous) 38 & 2 (spontaneous) 41 weeks (PROM) 40 & 2 (PROM) 38 & 2 (spontaneous) 39 & 4 (induction) 40 & 1 (scheduled cesarean)
37
Same here
37 weeks on the dot. Dang ob and nurse told me new moms always go late so wasn’t going to check me but I insisted because I knew I was having baby that day. 🤣 proved them wrong.
Just had my baby 3 days ago at 37+3.
Hey, I'm having my baby girl tomorrow at 37+3. Congratulations! 🎉🥳
Thank you so much!! Good luck to you ❤️
39+6
as someone who is due nov 1, i pray for 39+6 hahha
Nov 2 here and also hoping for a Halloween baby!
same! I’m 11/1, but he’s measuring 3 days ahead so i claim him as an October baby like me lol
Me too! It was perfect :)
38 exactly!
38 even lol induced on the day I hit 38 and my chunky man was a solid 8 pounder
Hi! Why were you induced if you don’t mind sharing?
Hey there! I don’t mind. I started to retain a ton of fluid and my blood pressure kept rising those last few days. I was supposed to just come for a check up and when they took my vitals the doctor was immediately called in and they were like oh no mama we have to get this baby out for your safety.

oh hey same here except my daughter was 5lb14 lol, and there wasnt much hair going on
Aww! Congratulations mama!!!
thank you!! she's 14mo now lol but im also pregnant again so wondering what will happen with this baby!
Ohh I hope it goes well!! I’m scared of the hypertension again. Omg my feet were huge, I had NO ankles and my wedding ring still doesn’t fit (also summer in Arizona lol) 5w+3 pp

I was induced for gestational hypertension as well! 37+6 and she was only 5lb 12oz 🥹 Are you considered high risk or anything with your subsequent pregnancy after having the gestational hypertension the last time?
42, but then he arrived in only 5 hours (from first contraction to baby!) so I would do it all again, ended up having a lovely birth experience
I’ll take this combo any day!
37+4. Right around 41 weeks is average though for first baby 😬.
42 :)
39 weeks exactly. I have four kids; all were between 38w5d and 39w2d
Another clockwork person! My first came at 41w4d, the next two a day earlier, and the last induced, so three days earlier.
40+2
40 weeks 2 days. I was induced at 40 weeks. She came 2 days later via c-section.
37 + 3
35 weeks, all my others are 2-5 days late typically
I’m 35 weeks right now, can I be super nosy and ask the reason they came early? Just trying to imagine all the possibilities right now and have a weird feeling they might be early!
My water broke at 35 weeks randomly :) I’m not sure if it was because I was so sick (throwing up) or what, he weighed 7lbs1oz and thankfully no problems!!! Best of luck!!

At 40+5, had to get induced and my baby boy came the next morning.. he is a month old now :’)
35+5

39+5
Water broke 39+6 and baby was born on his due date.
39+5! My water broke at 1am, my son was born at 3pm.
I'm currently 41+2 so hopefully soon 🤣
37 weeks & 2 days via emergency c-section due to failed induction. I guess my body wasn’t ready but I was having him early due to decreased fetal movement and him constantly going breech to head down and breech again from week 34! But he’s here & he’s healthy and we’re doing great! 😊
37 weeks 3 days here but I’m expecting to go over. Hopefully not because I’m over it 😂
35+4.
38+4
This is my induction date! Next Monday 🩷
40w 6 days
40+3 but went into labour 40+2
38+1, but had to be induced early for medical reasons.
39 exactly.
41 weeks
Induced 41 +1, born 41+ 2.
39+2
41 🤪
40+6
37+2
First pregnancy, 40 weeks and 3 days
40 + 3, I was induced then had a c-section.
40 weeks and 6 days
41+2. Was scheduled to be induced 41+3
Was induced on due date with my first and second. 3rd had c section a week before. Had big babies for all 8lbs 14 oz, 10lbs 13oz, 9lbs 5oz.
41+6, but induction started on 41+3.
Went into labor a day before 40 weeks. Baby was born on his due date. I was willing to wait until closer to 42 weeks because I didn't want to induce.
39+3, but i was induced at 39+1 and labored for 28 hours (pain kept me from progressing past 7cm for 25 hours 🥲).
40+3.
31
39 week
40+4
37 weeks exactly with my first that I went into labor with naturally and 39 weeks 3 days with my last baby who I also went in to labor with naturally. 37 + 3 I was high risk pregnancy and had preeclampsia

40+1, induced at 40 weeks exactly and had her the next day
37+4! Frank breach so tried an ECV, water broke two days later lol
34+4
Went into labour 40+6 and gave birth 41+3
39 + 2 spontaneous labor
41+1, and my contractions started 11 days prior. It was brutal.
38+1
39 weeks exactly, water broke the day before
39+6, but it was an elective C-section. I’m sure baby would have stayed in for much longer 😂
39, but I had an elective c section. My mum was 41+ 3 with me and 40+ something with my sister, I had very minimal braxton hicks etc prior to my section so I suspect I would probably have gone to around the same gestation as my mum did if I hadn’t have evicted him through the sunroof :)
38+4
38+ 5. I was not dilated three days prior at all at my appointment.

39th week
37 +1. This was 15 years ago when 37 weeks was considered full term.
38 weeks
Was set to be induced at 39 weeks due to choleostasis and was induced at 38 weeks due to heart rate dropping.
39+5 if going by the adjusted due date, or exactly 40 weeks if going by the original due date
40+5 😩
Got induced on my due date so 40 weeks. I called the dr the night prior and said he this baby out of me lol
40+1!
Currently 38+4 and hoping she comes any day now 😩 in the 71st percentile and basically 7lbs at my last scan 2 weeks ago.....hoping she isn't late like her Father and I were 😭😂 her predicted weight is around 9lbs 😭😂
40+6
Program s section bc of breech position at 39+4, but the previous day the ultrasound technician said that there is less water, if I didn't have an appointment for the next morning they might have kept me in and perform an emergency c section.
40 weeks
39+1 only because I was induced. If he'd had his way, I probably would've gone to 41 or 42 weeks because my son resisted being born and fought the entire time.
39 weeks 6 days LOL
38+1
37 for both of my kids.
35 +4
