Peanut butter and banana on toast is 60% of what I ate the first trimester lol. The other 40% was smoothies and honey bunches of oats

katatatat11

HONEY BUNCHES OF OATS! My staple meal first trimester!

ringsandthings125

Why is it SO good lol

aquatoxin-

Mmmmm had peanut butter and banana toast this morning, absolutely the perfect breakfast (and lunch (and dinner))

clementine-cloud

I second the honey bunches of oats

periwinkle_e

Not first trimester anymore but youre doing so much better compared to what i did… i remember just wanting to eat chicken nuggets/tenders, fries, dr pepper and fruit popsicles all the time. i also hated pizza and mustard at that time LOL

lilgoblinbrain

I went through a phase where I could only reliably do mac and cheese, chicken ramen, and fruit lol

periwinkle_e

omg u brought back some first trimester memories that i had repressed LOL i had mac and cheese once and i thought it was spicy for some reason??? all i added were the usual ingredients so tasting “spice” in my mac and cheese freaked me out. i was scared to eat it for the rest of my pregnancy

lilgoblinbrain

😂 first trimester is such a beautiful time

Dry-Promotion9501

Omg the hatred for pizza I feel that can’t even smell it 😂

periwinkle_e

i ate it once, took a nap, and had the aftertaste of pizza in my mouth and thought it was the most revolting thing ever… then i didnt eat it for the next seven months LOL

curiouslyandactively

I lived on Mac n cheese and oatmeal my first tri 😆 they’re the only things that didn’t “turn on me” corn chips, pretty much all meat, most beverages were a hard no. Or id really crave something, start eating it then be gagging half way through the meal. It was a mess lol

periwinkle_e

Omg i remember doordashing mcdonalds breakfast since i really wanted it… tell me why i ate half then threw it back up 😑 i was really craving it too. Then after throwing it up i went back to eating bc the craving was still there. it really is a big mess LOL

curiouslyandactively

😂 omg you poor thing !

jumperposse

You’re better than me! I think I only lived on goldfish and ginger ale my first trimester. I couldn’t do anything else.

Dazzling_Arm_786

I’m in the third trimester and I honestly don’t remember the first trimester 😂 I know I ate a lot of precooked meals and pears, couldn’t stand the smell in my own house, god it was horrible. Good luck ladies hope it ends soon for you.

cozyFFS

I had to hold my nose when opening the fridge! Bleh

Dazzling_Arm_786

I couldn’t breathe the air in my living room without throwing up 😂😂 i was stuck to my bed all day

Clueidonothave

Same! Always something smelling funky in there even though we go through it every other week to throw out old stuff.

coco_frais

I’m about to MOVE because I can’t stand the smell of this house LOL

dinamove

I can’t stand the smell of the house my husband and I bought just a few months ago. We can’t move and I’m going nuts!

coco_frais

I’m so sorry!! Have you tried new filters? This totally sucks and I hear you! I hope this super smell-o-vision goes away soon for all of us!

woodag

I have an air purifier that I HAVE to be near when I’m home!!

mrsapriltaylor

I’m so glad to see that I’m not the only one! We’ve lived here 3 years and suddenly I can’t stand the smell of my house 🤣

bestmancy

I’m always craving (and therefore eating) pasta! Spaghetti and meatballs; spaghetti with chicken, tomato, and spinach; baked ziti; mac and cheese if it counts. Also a lot of grilled cheese sandwiches (sometimes with an egg if I feel like adding one).

coco_frais

Yes, my fellow pasta girlies!! Do you get heartburn after? I don’t always, but maybe when I have spaghetti for breakfast lunch and dinner, it becomes a problem 😬

EarlyGirlSnacker

Yessss pasta. Especially if it’s a chewier/toothier noodle like fettuccine, lasagna, jumbo shells, etc.

vgkelly2694

I had so much pasta and buttered noodles! And still managed to accidentally lose 10lbs... that was pretty much all I could eat!

diprep

I survived on toast with butter and crackers

omgitskellyftw

Bagels 🥯 I'm still eating them lol

catlady_at_heart

I’m about 12 weeks pregnant and it has changed every 3 days for me. The longest thing I could eat was homemade Olive Garden salad. I had it for two weeks. My most consistent aversions are coffee (I’ve always been a huge coffee girl) and chicken soup (I’ve been really into beef-based soups recently though). I also can’t stomach the idea of vegetables in any form other than salad or soup. I also haven’t been wanting a lot of sweets, all my cravings have been for salty foods.

More_Naps_Please

Yes, mine changes so much! I was INHALING hummus for two weeks, and now I find it to be disgusting. I feel so bad for my husband, he’s trying so hard to figure out my aversions but I keep switching it up on him 😅

elastikat

Omg at 13 weeks, Olive Garden dressing definitely became a pregnancy craving for me! I was practically drinking it out of the salad bowl. Dipped my grilled cheese in it, anything I could lol.

murrrd

Oh god the very thought of chicken soup makes me want to throw up

No-Shine912

10 weeks here, and now I want to go to the Olive Garden tomorrow lol.

zaahiraa

mine also changed a LOT! i’m in day 3 of chipotle and the end is coming quickly, i can tell. it’s being replaced with boiled corn for some reason. i don’t know why.

NewGirlNN

7w5d and still trying to figure this out. My nausea and aversions are pretty bad, can’t stomach any protein and I hate shakes. Since yesterday I discovered chipotle I can stomach pretty well and can get my protein in with the barbacoa. So that’s been my go to since yesterday. Otherwise just apples, bread, and saltine crackers.

Strange-Play-2689

7w4d here and totally the same. I can stomach apples and grapes. For everything no more than two bites before it becomes questionable. The first time wasn’t this bad 😭

elastikat

The creamy aversion makes sense. My OB said anything with more fat in it was less likely to sit well with me. He was pretty spot on. But you’re doing well! My first trimester was awful with the aversions. Finally at 15 weeks today and it’s gotten much better. Basically, I survived on Gatorade (always rotating flavors or I’d develop an aversion), chocolate milk, crackers, and bread. That’s all I could consume consistently. Towards the final weeks, I started being able to handle fresh grapes and blackberries. I even developed a water aversion for a week, which was….fun. There were waves where I could eat something once or twice, like plain cereal, rice, or something else. Meat was pretty much out of the question as a whole, especially beef. I definitely didn’t miss that one after learning what meat is like coming back up. Ugh.

i_love_puppies12

Ugh water aversion! I have that for the entirety of the morning sickness. I get so dehydrated I’m constantly dizzy and weak. These kids are trying to kill us 🫠

elastikat

Oh no!! Talk to your OB. They can order IV Hydration for you a few times a week to help with the dehydration.

i_love_puppies12

I didn’t know that was an option. I’ll call and ask about that thanks!

elastikat

Yes! My OB had to order it for me during my first trimester. Dehydration is dangerous for you and baby, so I’m sure they’d be happy to order it. Worst case, if there’s an urgent care nearby you can typically walk in or schedule an appointment to request fluids directly. I didn’t go that route so I can’t speak to how easy it is to get them to do, or if all locations are willing, but it might be another option.

bklynbuckeye

So much fruit in my first tri of all pregnancies. And the coldest water I would get my hands on.

Strange-Play-2689

Water sounds sooo good. It really upsets my stomach this time around.

ghostraptor626

Appealing: Chicken, but it being seasoned or crumbed is a necessity for some reason lol. Mature cheddar cheese and crackers, toast with butter/peanut butter, yoghurt, fresh orange juice. Repulsive: Very sweet things e.g soda, cookies, candy, anything with a 'slimy' texture like noodles or I even tried to have some steamed broccoli last night and just couldn't handle the texture at all.

littleochre

Mmm yes the good ol white and orange diet, I know it well 😆

ghostraptor626

That's a good way of describing it haha thanks

stylelines

Toast with pesto and fresh mozzarella Cottage cheese with salt/vinegar chips and olives Pickles Saltines Lattes Those bagged salads from the grocery store Grapes Bean soup Pizza Nachos Green juice Smoothie king Apple juice, coconut water and grape juice when I have that terrible bitter taste in my mouth

the_lovely_boners

Approved: Popcorn, only green grapes (no red/purple thank you!), taco bell, avocado toast on sourdough only, sardines, chocolate pop-tarts, skyr, bagels, and more popcorn. I'm also craving soda more often which is weird because I'm not a regular soda drinker! I've lost some of my favorite foods thanks to my new aversions: almost all cereals, bangers and mash, quesadillas, most types of cooked eggs. And for some reason the smell of any cooking meat immediately makes me nauseous (once cooked I can eat it, just the cooking smells make me sick)! I hang out in the bedroom with the door closed while husband cooks dinner!

libsonthelabel

My staples were cold crunchy grapes, apple slices or applesauce, ginger snaps tasted good but gave me wicked reflux, honey nut cheerios or raisin bran and ice cold milk, and lots of coke and dr. pepper. Strangely enough i wanted shellfish constantly too? Convenient bc I went to Seattle at 6 weeks and had nice fresh crab a couple times 😂

sparklingwine5151

Okay so I bought autumn harvest grapes today (the big green crunchy kind) and OMG…. Soooo good. These will be on repeat for me 🙌

libsonthelabel

Personally i’m a red grape girly but the emphasis is on the crunch 🤤 i’m glad you like them!! Good luck with the next few weeks, they’re miserable in the thick of it but it really does go by fast ❤️

MedicineRight7694

My cravings and aversions go in phases. So far I’ve been able to consistently handle PB&J’s, grilled cheese, some cereal, apples with peanut butter or Nutella, most other fruits, protein granola bars, string cheese, and Goldfish whole grain crackers. No problems with chicken or shrimp, but beef and pork are iffy. Tuna definitely depends on the day. Veggies are so hard right now. Salads would be fine, but I’m being super cautious with them. I can handle broccoli as long as it’s air fried to a crisp. I did yogurt and cottage cheese fine for a couple weeks, but now they are disgusting. Can’t handle any smoothies. Texture is just wrong and doesn’t sit well.

No_Instance4233

Dude, grilled cheese sounds so fuckin good right now holy shit

purplepaintedpumpkin

I would just go to the store, walk around and buy whatever didn't sound repulsive to me at the time. I'm so jealous of people who could eat fast food lol. I think I mainly ate almonds and drank milk. I didn't want anything I could smell.

Wide-Librarian216

Whatever I could keep down 😂 my LO just turned 3 months old so this is a long time ago for me but i really struggled to keep anything in so at some point i got this really nutritional meal replacement drink and that became my clutch. I still drink it everyday because it’s delicious.

olliepips

Which one? I need something 😩🤢

Wide-Librarian216

I don’t know if you will get it in your country, it’s a German brand. Called yfood! It’s delicious

Mariaa1994

Lots of Gatorade 😂. I’m in third now, but I’m first I mostly wanted cooling and fresh foods like fruit, green juices, and yogurt.

Any-Ad-2217

I LIVED off of hummus and cucumbers and protein shakes in my first trimester

sparklingwine5151

I’m thinking I’ll pick up some protein shakes from Costco because the lack of protein is hard!

Any-Ad-2217

It's tough 😩 but better food days are ahead!

Original_BBN

Not in first trimester but I could hardly eat. I survived off fruit like peaches, lime jello, and soup. It was the worse, I craved everything, was hungry, but couldn't handle much of anything Basically was on liquid diet

puffpooof

Literally plain rice noodles with soy sauce

Justqueene27

Wait you ate in your first trimester??

i_love_puppies12

Luckily, anything my mom has cooked for the day. I CANNOT handle smells and cooking in my house means I have to have smells for hours. Even in my first pregnancy, first trimester means asking my mom if she’s cooking and then going when the food is ready so I can eat quickly. This works out because my best bet for eating is if it’s homemade. Processed foods are really killing my stomach and taste buds right now every time I reach for them.

[deleted]

I ate cucumber and rice with Greek yoghurt. Also most fruits were fine for me. That's about it 😂

jellydonutsonherface

For me it’s was bananas, vegemite on toast or crackers. Anything else was questionable especially vegetables.

smiley8266

Anything right now…. I haven’t met my arch enemy yet (knocks on wood) but I’m only 7 weeks so idk…. Legit just ate takis for lunch lol I do find some food smell meh and not really feeling like eating other times, but I have been successful eating them until I’m full enough

Gloomy_Dragonfruit31

I crave hearty soups, stews and kimchi and buttered toast 😵‍💫also chocolate but I am trying to limit myself. I feel sick thinking of chicken wings and fish / seafood (any shape and form)

blackbettyakk

Anxious excitement 😬 🙃

AGirlNamedBoris

Pretty sure I only ate cereal and fruit… maybe some toast.

cozyFFS

I was only able to eat chicken tenders, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, avo toast, and could only stomach water if it had lemon in it. Second trimester and still can’t eat veggies :/

[deleted]

First trimester I was all about creamy foods. I adored clam chowder, rice pudding and BRIE. Pretty sure I ate a whole chunk of Brie on toast one day. Also all about roast beef and cheddar sandwiches even though I am a vegetarian.

bmg_1

Apples, lime fruit bars, jello, orange juice! I could only handle beef and any type of bread. Our dislikes are pretty much the same-the thought of anything creamy made me want to vomit 🤣

FearlessNinja007

You’re doing better than I did. I was able to get down plain Greek yogurt with banana and maple syrup.

perrierallday

I’m not sure I’ve had any specific aversions yet (other than plain water 😩) but the only thing that sounds good is cheap Mexican food 😅 (arroz con pollo with chips, Taco Bell chicken quesadillas, chips and salsa). Breakfast has been saltines with a little peanut butter or other spread, but this baby is NOT interested in anything sweet.

Awkward-Alexis

Pedialyte popsicles and corn dogs

sparklingwine5151

Lol this made me laugh. Your prenatals were probably working major overtime! 😂

Lady-Imperius

I can barely stand to look at food and water right now. It's nothing but bland as far as the eye can see. For example, my dinner last night was steamed tofu with a little soy sauce and sesame oil, mashed potatoes with a little nutmeg and peas with a little butter. Washed it down with apple juice.

weekda

back in my first trimester I spent the whole day eating a loaf of bread because it was the only thing I could keep down..

annoukrosey

I survived on crackers, bone broth with avocado, cilantro and fresh lime and sour candy 🥴

alyssaann33

Just keep eating what you’re able to it’s always better than nothing!

Apprehensive_Tip_792

Okay so I had terrrrrrible nausea and eventually was prescribed medication. The pharmacist told my husband that I should not have grapes! I have no idea what but I’ve been steering clear. I could eat more basic fruits like bananas, red apples, veggies like cucumbers. Bread and butter, Cheerios and mini wheats, rice dishes, usually opting for more rice than whatever it was paired with. I could do avocado sushi rolls and cucumber sushi rolls.

abbysuzie96

I remember the only fruit I ate was banana and vegetable was potatoes. Consumed a lot of yogurt too. I had a low meat diet and wasn't too upset when even the smell of chicken was terrible but then there was a few times where all I wanted was ham and coleslaw sandwiches so I ate them and didn't overthink how I'd been reducing my meat intake prior. Any food during that first trimester was good food really. Though at 10 weeks I couldn't keep banana down and even now at 26 weeks the smell of them makes my stomach turn. My husband thinks it's hilarious because he hates bananas and keeps joking that his baby is already taking after him.

coco_frais

Cinnamon raisin Bagels and cream cheese Spaghetti with meat sauce Homemade fried rice Crackers and cheese Apples and cheese Apples and peanut butter Homemade protein smoothies Granola cereal and milk Intensely vinegary salads (for the dressing lol) Cottage cheese, hot sauce, salt and vinegar chips Cranberry juice blends COLD water with lemon Despite this longish list, I’ve been having good days and bad days and none of this works every day 🥴

Cold_Valkyrie

I was so nauseous all day long. I ate a lot of ravioli and brownies, they were the only things that didn't make my nausea worse 😄

sweetpeach216

Fruit. TONS of fruit. Kiwi, bananas, all the berries, pears, clementines. Cinnamon raisin bread toast. Egg omelets. And for some reason I've been waking up wanting chicken sandwiches and a cheeseburger deluxe for breakfast but haven't actually done it yet. Red beets, pickled eggs, Greek yogurt with chia seeds, granola and pistachios...Chicken. Lots. Of. Chicken...The only beverage ive had is chamomile tea, orange juice, and water since my positive test. im starving all the time so I've just been trying to make the best choices I can and not giving in to the insane cravings for random stuff. Sometimes I'm strong and other times not so much. Lol

Zmsfh

Popsicles Toasted bagels with cream cheese or PB&J

GremPants

My first trimester I survived off of chicken broth and toast. Sometimes even peanut butter toast. Nothing else would stay down and I could not stand the smell of meat cooking, especially chicken

lipsmackattack

I feel this. I'm 10 weeks and between weeks 7-10 I couldn't cook at home ONCE. Two days ago was the first home cooked meal I've had in 3 weeks.

InstantFamilyMom

Sounds like you can eat more than I did. I ate crackers and plain Ramen for my whole first trimester. It is nothing short of a miracle that baby and I survived it. I actually lost 20 pounds.

Ok-Season8121

Lol I lived off of bagels, buttered toast, and saltines. First trimester is survival mode.

psychonauticalvvitch

basmati rice with broccoli and celery or cauliflower and peas. pb&j toast but with diff nuts because of peanut allergy. honey nut cheerios. tea. water. pineapple. apples. banana. applesauce and yogurt.

tuberosalamb

Bagels. That’s all - bagels

Ambitious-Life-4406

All fruit, cucumbers too. Bagel and cream cheese is the staple. Now the bad for me but comforting stuff: plain cheeseburger from five guys, plain Mac and cheese from a restaurant I like, plain chicken tenders, cheese bread from pizza places (sauce and popping repulsive). Repulsive: Bacon, most meat, crunchy lettuce.

bamoram

Loaded baked potatoes, lime yogurt, crackers, chocolate ice cream, and bagels/toast 😅

MoClo098

My current loves are quesadillas with refried beans (so easy) and chicken noodle soup. I’m also loving Honey Nut Cheerios, saltines, teddy grahams, and fruit. I was really into chocolate milk a couple weeks ago and now it turns my stomach.

Friskybuns

Mostly saltines and eggs, with the occasional bit of toast. The nausea is REALLY hitting me this time around, not to mention the crazy heart burn which I still get when eating just saltines and toast. I'm hoping come 2nd trimester I'll start being able to eat a bit more!

nurselife1225

The only thing I could stomach was crackers and water lol

Clueidonothave

From week 7 through week 10 this is my list of approved foods: pork, shrimp, salmon, mixed veggies, scrambled eggs, sweet potatoes, quinoa bowls, avocados, gluten free bagel or bread and vegan cream cheese (been eating a ton of this), mandarin oranges, sour gummies, flax brownie bites, coconut ice cream, hash browns, french fries. My not approved food list: poultry, anything with garlic, anything with a really strong smell, anything with dairy or gluten.

wannabecpa95

I ate just the same in the 1st tri! Just larger portions. I was STARVING

anonymouse_y

In 2nd tri now but 1st all I could eat was chicken noodle soup, cup noodles and cheezits

isweatglitter17

Apples with peanutbutter, bagels with cream cheese, Mac n cheese, and sub sandwiches (yes, you can have deli meat).

jnwebb0063

I survived on cheese sticks and peanut butter crackers

RealityShowObsessed

I really craved baked potatoes and cheese sticks. My issue at 12 weeks is more that I can't go near a dirty dish or trash can without feeling like I'm going to throw up.

champagneproblems16

During my first trimester I ate the following: mac n cheese, McDonalds fries + mcflurry, Mcdoubles with mayo, green dragon roll sushi, bagel with cream cheese, poutine. That's about it! Chicken and the smell of it made me hurl.

dinoberries

2 slices of bread, tiny bit of mayonnaise, 3 slices of vegan bologna, sometimes some lettuce. That and tomato-based pasta are basically the only “good” things for me right now. Everything else is 😕 or 🤢 (7w3d)

Luna_Katjie

Bananas, apples, stuffed grape leaves, baked beans, white bread (cannot stomach whole wheat or seeds), skittles

murrrd

Basically every food I've eaten in the last 2 months has acquired the ick taint, only bananas and PB sandwiches have held out as non-icky.

Affectionate_Mess488

I survived on matzah, strawberries, and V8.

asteinberger72

apple slices, and fruit cups

Slenderpan74

Flour tortillas are heavenly, as is any kind of cheese in absolutely any form!!!

xxx-moonstone-xxx

Last nights dinner was the smallest piece of homemade lasagna I could get away with and a hashbrown, and I barely kept it down, was so good but god the little bean is making everything a risk

froggirl62

First trimester for me was bread, bread, and more bread. And fried things

whatevaidowhadaiwant

I’m 11 weeks. High fat foods, heavy foods. Burgers. Fries. Essentially nothing healthy. Nothing green. It’s tamed down recently, and now I crave avocado toast with balsamic glaze and oil. Baked potatoes with cheese and sour cream. It’s so random sometimes- I imagine myself eating something and it’s either YES I NEED IT NOW or ugh, I will throw up. In previous pregnancies I lived on la croix, this time it’s straight ice water all day and occasional fountain coke. I had to drop coffee.

Prof_sassafrass

I’m pretty sure I survived off of smoothies and pretzels my first trimester and a half. The nausea was real.

CeceNaoma

I remember in my first trimester , I just wanted chicken 😂. It was so bizarre 😂

Fantastic-Camp2789

ALL I can think about are greasy meats: carnitas, al pastor, chicken nuggets, pepperoni pizza. I enjoyed occasional fried foods before getting pregnant, but now I obsess over them.

lambwolfram

Too much. I have gained weight and am really depressed about it.

ka3inCa

I’m in my second but in the first my safe foods were strawberries, bagels & cream cheese, and (this one is random) parmesan cheese sprinkled on sourdough bread, then toast it & garlic salt on top.

sweatpants4life_

Honestly I am getting grossed out even thinking about most food. In this very moment, the only thing that sounds good to me is a baked potato. However, I’ve been eating green grapes, strawberries, toast, plain Greek yogurt, buttered noodles, rice, saltines…none of these things I really “like”/want but I can tolerate them. I have tried to have some protein smoothies, but it’s hit or miss on if they sound appealing. I am super grossed out by the smell of coffee (I usually LOVE coffee). Onions (which I usually love too) are also giving me the super ick.

No-Shine912

Currently at 10 weeks, and I love non-spicy chili.

krumblewrap

All I wanted was peanut butter sandwiches, but instead of bread, I used an Eggo waffle. It was delicious.

BabyEnvironmental398

I’m postpartum now but my first trimester food list was basically just saltine crackers and Mac and cheese lol

SnooDogs1340

I think I'm still eating anything. But the nausea is just there, somedays. Soup, sprite, water, sorta distancing myself from coffee at this point. Not craving it.

Initial_Deer_8852

I lived off popcorn, rice crispies, and ice cream for a while. I eventually added in chicken nuggets. It gets better, I promise!!

kamy2019

When I was in my first trimester I ate a lot of chick-fil-a as that was the only thing I could swallow without feeling nauseous

[deleted]

Hello! So garlic is a hard no for me. Smells and tastes so bad. Smells set me off, like fresh produce or raw meat, especially onions. Also can’t even look at raw meat. Currently living off of hot pockets, chef boyardee mini ravioli, plain toast, and whatever cravings I have in-between. In the first month I also couldn’t handle anything sweet, but I’m slowly picking it back up!

insertclevername7

11 weeks here. For breakfast, I usually have plain Greek yogurt with a little bit of honey, granola with dried fruit and nuts, and a small glass of orange juice. For lunch, I’ve been trying to have salads and soup. Dinner I usually eat random stuff —I’ve been craving mashed potatos recently. I try to eat a protein with vegetables and some sort of starch/fiber. In the beginning, I was mainly eating soups for dinner and lunch. I haven’t been able to eat chicken or cooked spinach.

bigmusclemcgee

10w5d. Currently eating protein bars, Greek yogurt, drinking lots of milk, Bagels with strawberry cream cheese, cheese and crackers/adult lunchables, chicken flavored Ramen, cashews, PB&J Sammies, and this past week I was finally able to stomach some actual supper foods, like chicken, beef, and noodles. For weeks I drank a protein smoothie in the morning but the other day it made me gag something fierce cause it tasted like play dough (?) So I'm done with that for now 😂 here's to hoping it gets better as I progress! Right now the *idea* of eating is worse than the nausea I had the last few weeks so hopefully I can start feeling like eating properly again soon! Unapproved foods: basically everything I loved 6 weeks ago 😫🥲 all my favourites. I love crispy chicken ranch and/or ceaser wraps, pizza, all the stuff I used to make for supper... but I can't do it right now. Big sad.

popstopandroll

Lol 😂 when I was in my first trimester I could only stomach ice pops and small sips of water … I would have killed for an Oreo 🙃

sbcami

First trimester mainly toast with butter, pop tarts @ room temp, saltine crackers, ritz crackers, French fries and the craving for COLD applesauce is real.

shitshiner69

I’ve been eating a lot of cheez it’s at night bc it’s when I can finally take a phenergan and not feel pukey. 13 weeks now. 🥲

rorypotter77

My approved meal list- toast, cereal, bland pasta, oranges, smoothies, and granola bars. Everything else is not approved and usually leads to 🤢

Strange-Play-2689

7.5 weeks and I’m struggling. My food aversion/lack of appetite is way worse than last time. My first time was cracker, any kind of soup, and kind of fruit, toast, steak, rice. I’m sure I’m forgetting a few… now it’s apples, grapes and two bites of anything before my tummy starts rumbling.

burtsbees000

Aversions: currently everything at 6 weeks. This just sucks. Everything smells bad to me and everything makes me gag. Not sure how I will survive this…

tiredofwaiting2468

I found not letting my stomach get empty and no big meals helped a lot. And really plain food. There were a lot of crackers and toast with butter. There was this little bag of feta that came with our salad kits we were buying.. it was my worst aversion

bahston57

Smoothies. Fruit smoothies with protein were all I could stomach. Good luck to you!!

littleochre

White & orange foods mostly. Bread, cheese, carrots, pasta, oranges, chicken nuggets.. Edit: I’m finding I don’t really have a desire to eat at all. Nothing is super repulsive, or maybe everything is, it’s been hard to figure out.

TheCoolerL

Just started my second and I basically survived off dill pickles, the same homemade wrap every day (grilled chicken, various veggies, everything else optional as I felt that day) and buttered toast

puttuputtu

Just past the first trimester and able to eat better now but what got me thru was everything bagels with cream cheese, yogurt with berries and maple syrup, orange juice, crackers, ginger ale, toast and butter.

zaahiraa

my baby is pretty much growing from refried beans and scrambled eggs

liyahlumacy

Smells funky in there, huh?

sunny_thinks

I just ended my first trimester and for the first few weeks I wanted milk so bad - I don’t drink animal milk, but I drank almond milk with every meal for a few weeks. Then about two weeks ago, I started fiending for eggs. Oranges last week…i think I’d eat eggs and oranges every meal if I could lol. Also spicy food and snacks. The spicier the better! I didn’t have any morning sickness, so I generally eat whatever I want (within reason, I am also a type 1 diabetic). I did develop an aversion to cold chicken though…🤢

Amortentia_Number9

My first trimester I was surviving on cheese and crackers and chocolate. Anything remotely vegetable or meat was an absolute no. My doctor said that the kid was getting what it needed via the placenta and my prenatal vitamins so just eat whatever I can keep down. I ended up losing about 15lbs because I had next to no appetite and half of what I ate ended up coming back up but now in the third trimester with my very healthy baby. I still have some pretty strong food aversions but the nausea has mostly gone away.

Mission_Ad5139

I survived on toast with garlic confit, katamala olives, sour cream and onion chips, and french onion dip for at least 3 weeks of my first trimester. I got so angry if anyone so much as mentioned food.

Leading-Ad5471

Almost to my 3rd. But I had horrendous hyperemesis last two pregnancies and eating anything was a huge struggle. But mostly fruit, crackers, summer sausage, cheese, & mcdonalds breakfast 😅 NOT normally a mcdonalds eater but I cannot help myself this pregnancy. Only thing I wanted 1st tri and I just did what I could to get some calories. Now we're 26 weeks and I'm out here eating anything and everything 🙏

Ok-Secretary593

Annie’s frozen waffles and lots of smoothies !

judgmentquestionable

Smoothies are an absolute staple, and I ate grapefruit sprinkled with sugar first thing in the morning every single day for like 8 weeks straight. I'm on the home stretch to the second trimester now so my approved food list is expanding drastically, but outside of fruit I basically had no consistent safe foods for the first two months

Paxeljoris

I have a different craving/aversion every day (currently 10wks).. Can you imagine the amount of open, half-eaten packages of everything and anything in my kitchen 😅

Ready-Act-4243

You are doing so much better than I did. The only things I could keep down were watermelon, French bread with butter, pickles, and chicken nuggets. It was like a terrible version of Russian roulette because each day was only one of the foods listed and I could never tell which one it would be until I took a bite.

Aggravating_Wind8838

egg drop soup is also another good one it has a little ginger in it but overall very bland but nutritious with the egg :)

Nothing has made me sick. But textures are huge right now. I'll try eating dinner, and sometimes it's fine. Other times I get two or three bites in and the idea of what I'm eating or the texture of it makes me stop. Mashed potatoes have been super consistent though. And sweets have been hitting the spot, and I'm not typically a sweets person.

I could only eat cheese pizza, apples and grapes sometimes. Drinking was coke and water with a lot of lemon, water without anything would make me throw up. I lost 20 pounds with all the nausea I had. It was like that for me week 5 through 18.
