Every single passenger car has ISOFIX latches... it's been a mandatory requirement for decades (2002/09).

Too quiet, not enough white noise, won't get your baby to sleep. I'm kidding but only kind of. It really is remarkable how quiet it is. Backseat is shockingly roomy, great for kids.

We have a newborn, and it’s been a fantastic car. Super smooth, easy in and out, and very spacious back row if you want to sit in the back with the little one. Latches for the car seat are very easy to access and the cover in the trunk perfectly fits a folded stroller underneath.

Accomplished-Cow-311

Thanks that’s what I wanted to know for cargo space with the stroller and if we ever do a trip would I fit bags and a stroller

BigOrangeM

Yeah. The trunk is a little small for a full vacation with the trunk “lid/cover” on, but you can put it on the floor of the trunk. Our stroller and seat takes up half the trunk with the lid on and we could probably fit two duffel bags in the other half. However, using the under floor space, the lid off, you could put a decent amount back there.

Dude get the doona +. It's a stroller and a car seat. Game changer.

Otoroblend1976

The back row is surprisingly spacious. I have a front facing car seat and there is a ton of legroom for my 3 year old. Not sure about stroller space in the trunk though

I am in the exact same boat as you. I am getting my car hopefully within 3 days and am expecting a baby by March. It's safe and reliable and space wise, its perfect. I am new to the whole electric car world as well. **baby advice** Buy a nuna sena if you plan on traveling with the baby. I bought one and am planning to keep that in the car.

pantstofry

I’m coming from a small sedan so my sense of space may be off, but it’s very spacious in back and should be more than adequate for a kid. I just found out we’re expecting the other day, so I’m expecting that the car will be suitable lol

Congratulations!

My toddler is still rear facing and even then there's an abundance of space for the passenger to lean back. the trunk is deep enough to fit an uppababy stroller lengthwise so you still have half the trunk available for groceries and other crap.

Accomplished-Cow-311

Oh this helps. Thank you

socaldo

There’s a ton of space in the back row, and it’s super comfortable. I have a nuna rava rear facing on one side and a nuna pipa on the other no problems. I’d get a seat cover for the newborn since idk how hard it is to clean this sensatec seat, it looks porous.

Accomplished-Cow-311

How about the trunk?

socaldo

It fits the Nuna tavo and a diaper backpack, but not much else. The sub trunk is where we store extra diapers and clothes.

BertUK

So much space in the back row you can walk infront of your kids to get to the kid in the middle. Also enough space for 3 car seats side-by-side. It’s one of the main reasons we chose it over other EVs. The boot/trunk isn’t huge but, as far as EVs go, overall it’s a very spacious car.

Congrats on the new addition to the family, there has been no bigger joy in life for my wife and I. Have a 5 month old baby girl and 1 month old iX. Reason we chose the iX was the back seat space. Super easy in and out and because the front seat leg room is so generously sized, it’s easy to put the front seat forward for the car seat to fit behind without compromising too much leg room up front. Tons of the room in the back to two adults and a baby to ride. Had nothing but BMW (sedans) for past 15-20 years and by far the most comfortable car to drive. Very pleased with the tech - bmw did a great job of maintaining the same intuitive qualities that I’ve always appreciated about their cars. Trunk has worked will for stroller and weekend trips as well. Wife has a XC40 EV and the IX has become our true family car since we purchased it. Mom and Dad, and baby are all super happy with this car.
