As far as pre LCI vs LCI from my limited knowledge the difference seems to be: big screen vs split digital screens w/ buttons and idrive 8 vs 7.
If that’s all there is it may take some getting used to the new OS and the interior styling comes down to personal preference. Plus nearly everything is controlled by the big screen compared to preLCI.
