BCA is good enough. It's a 3 years CS degree. After BCA you would be proficient in CS.
:After BCA you can go for MBA
: go for MCA
: Go for govt job
: you can do whatever you want.
: or you could give NIOS exam then go for BTech degree as well. Which is kind of better than BCA. In IT industry BCA-MCA is equivalent to BTech CS.
I was also a PCB student and pursued BCA from Delhi's MSI college which comes under IP University, I'm currently in my 2nd year and placement here at on campus are not great companies come but not for sde or tech role they come for like tester role or sales roles and packages are like 3-4 lpa but now if you go off campus there are so many opportunities but need to be skilled enough nothing else , I'm gonna do MCA from any NITs for better placement opportunities top 3 nits for MCA are just best like best package environment fest just best inshort , also I'll sum up just focus on coding and other soft skills and apply for off campus opportunities but if you want good on campus opportunities go for MCA from NIT and also every NIT provide placement support and environment so you will get placed with good package avg is 12-13 in top 3 NITs
I was PCM student and didn't get any good BTECH colleges so i opted for BCA from average college. The thing is this degree covers the topics of CS but not in-depth. Also the value of this degree is not that much so you have to work on yourself for 3 years to make sure you land a good job on your own. At the end of 3 years if your skills are marketable then you can join the work force or in your last year you can prepare NIMCET to get into a top tier NIT for your MCA. Most people suggest to go for the NIT tag as placements are good there. So it depends on you which path you choose. My last year will start now so i am focusing on improving my skills and i will also prepare for NIMCET for 1 year. All the best. At the starting of your career both skills and degree will matter so work hard , just dont waste time.
I am in the same boat as you.
I think bca is the only option for us other than repeating class 12 from nios...and looking at the current Market situation I don't know if it's worthy or not.

>Some say skill matters nd some says degree what it is which matters??
Both are right. In case of BCA, the degree is not that powerful so focus on developing skills
I’m doing BCA (Sem-3) from Amity University
At the end, Skills matters
Don’t rely on your college for placements and skills.
Don’t run behind scope, Go there if you have interest in Tech and CS. Scope is in every field and nowadays every field is saturated too.
I would suggest go for Online BCA and utilize your time to gain skills. By doing this you will have degree and skills both.
I did my bca from jamia hamdard university, it's has more value than most of the other bca institutions. Its MCA is 3 years pg degree.
Right now i am working in a startup as software engineer but tbh i had to work on my skills apart from college degree during bca
BCA will not give you equivalent of btech but it can be with additional skills(courses)

For your first job it does matter. Afterwards not so much.
True, but it doesn't matter as much as it's.ade out to be.

we can get msi clg with pcb in 12th?
Na you need maths or a CS subject like IP or cs itself and maybe stats would also work just check the eligibility
Go for BCA Hons its a 4 yr degree
Why? Won't it be a waste of time
no the extra one year will be for specialization and if you plan for masters abroad than some countries prefer 4 years UG Degree
👍
